Hello
The problem is very often the BSI ECU. But you can create a duplicate copy if you are a new or used BSI. Trade the eeprom or the MCU with interem E2.

You need to consult the wiring diagram. Is there not a fuse & relay to do this from the ign.

Check your earthpoints near the bsi, than check the contacts if there is some corrosion inside the pins and repair them. Eaven if your bsi is dead one you must have communication with

There is a relay called a double relay. Usually brown in colour 1920 7L is the number(not totally sure) and it will stop your vehicle starting

Greetings and thank you all for your response I redo a new control with the diag PP2000, there is still no communication between the BSI and the ECM, the ECM does not answer, I checked all the fuses and the 2 cable that communicates between the BSI and ECM
The BSI is locked and the ECM again how to unlock the BSI?
I would test another BSI can you tell me how because I am a newbie
thanks

Be carefull because swaping (changer) the bsi will cause you poblems with your cluster(compteur de kilometres). If you can find a same car swap bsi together + cluster, or when puting back the connector dont connect the clusters one. Pm me if you need more details, im working for citron?ll?,mdr

AS mentioned previously pull up the carpet and sound deadening in the drivers footwell underneath you will find some wiring and multi plugs check it is not wet or corroded it is a common problem on a 406 and can cause your symptoms.
