Forget this tool mates. Can read/write only unprotected chips. And the clones not even that.

Yes, obd' i'd noticed the price changes on the clones too, they seem to go from one extreme to the the other. Plus, you make a valid point about using clones on an expensive car, hence my suggestion of BMW Commander. How did you get on with your AVDI purchase by the way?

Yep, but I want you to make attention on word "clone". We all are witnesses of Chinese clones and how they work, but on market are some other than Chinese clones, which are 99,9% same as original devices (except look, but who cares). On some devices like that, even official firmware update is possible etc.

So, not all clones are Chinese clones and not all clones are bad clones...

i bought an russian clone of xprog and rosfar ... paid 600 $ for xprog but is 100% like original ... so some clones wort the money..

The best tool for the new BMW's is the Russian BMW Explorer. Abritus is like a toy compared to the BMW Explorer. :wavey:

Pasoft was first on market that created best bmw coding aftermarket application.
They break apart the original coding DIS and then progmann sss and created a really stright compact software for extra coding to bmw.
MANY MANY APPRECIATION FOR THAT!

MANY OF YOU HERE JUST TALK AND EVEN DONT KNOW TO CREATE A LIITLE SOFTWARE OR TO INSTALL IT PROPERLY .

DONT DARE to say PASOFT bmw scanner its good for nothing , just say THANKS to the boys that created it!
Remember that all of u use clones .

Bmw scanner ( Paosft made) was the best for many years and since 1.2x version.

Abritus imported their software and added on their comander.
Pasoft is best and still work into bmw area, and what you dont know is that they are working with abritus together now.
