Hi folks, just wanted to ask here the specialists. I managed to connect a new VDO dash with FIS/MFA managed to edit the real values in the mileage field using VAG K+CAN Commander 1.4. But now I am not able to install the old dash into the car which is a UK-NSI. It need the IMMO LOGIN to adjust the KEYS, IMMOBILIZER and the correct MILEAGE now. I wanted to ask if I read the dump from the 93c56 eprom what settings should I use on my programmer, it's a WILLEM PCB 5.0. I saw under the Microwire menu a lot of 93 LR/NM/C 56 8-bit and 16-bit eproms. Which one now. I just read the chip using the settings for 93C56 chip 8 bit. If someone could help me cause I cannot obtain the login from this dump which I attach here.

I thank you folks, and sorry if my post is a double one but I looked everywhere on the forum and couldn't get the answer for my questions, so I am hoping someone here on the FORUM has the TIME and the PLEASURE to help me with this.

Thanks again, and keep up the good JOB guys and girls.

the car is 1998 the dash is UK-NSI and I've read it with WILLEM EEPROM PROGRAMMER, but that's the point, i don't know the settings in willem 8 or 16 bit, and what type of eeprom fomr that list and how to clip the chip. i soldered wires to each one lead and put it in the socket of the willem board but I've read about the issue with the NC 6 PIN not connected or connected. If I could get a guide how to read the chip cause anyway I get only a 256 kb data bin file. the VDO ones have (some of them) a 512 kb bin file like the Motometer. That's the point why I need the login and a description how to read the goddamn LOGGIN for the dash that's all I NEED. I don't want to manipulate KM only to adjust the keys from the IMMO to that dash so I can use the car

well after the new clipping and the xtal shorting I've read it out with 16 bit, and tried also with byteswap. I used im*oread 3.5.24.5.exe to try to decode the login but I've got only 3377 or 7733 and none of the worked. I just need the software to read out the login or at least the name of the software used or at least the row in wich is stored and how to get it u know. no km mannipulation and stuff, want only to learn the keys cause without my car does start but stops after 2 seconds

I use WILLEM EEPROM PROGRAMMER PCB5.0

The problem is I am new in this and there are too many settings and I donno which settings to pick. Microwire but which, 8 bit or 16 bit, the 93LC56, 93C56 simple or the 93NM56 CHIP and which reading method 16 bit method, 32 bit method or simple without blank settings. If you would have a tutorial for PCB 5.0 to read the CHIP or use Ponyprog instead or which software that would be great. you can contact me on Yahoo mess on the id - ms99ppj - or you cand send me a step by step guide to papjack@1email.eu.

thank you for your time and help, but as I have said I am new in this and need really a step by step help.

Maybe I can help with other stuff.

Thanks again and best regards,

Papjack

nice, noone can put a short tutorial together for newbies like me, either they don't have time which is ok by me, either they don't really wanna help cause surely me from Germany will steal his "bread" in California or somewhere in the U.K. Of course is that IRONICALLY ment and pisses me of but," Hey " - lets post the same shit here on the site on 555 different threads like I found a bug in my display, it shows 195.255 kilometers instead of 195.254 kilometers WOOOOW, now that's important and there are many with answers, I mean real answers not like "try 12345678", but in a case like this...

OK-OK (Joe Pesci style) I shut up, and look somewhere else

If this Login code is not accept you can try switch ignition ON and must wait for 30 minuts, after can enter login code.

3377 - is 100% right code. But you must reset try's count - write 00 in array B6...BB.

hi freind, in this car immobiliser is in the ecu and not on dashboard, and for remote controls you can program them manually, change your dash, set your new mileage and start car car with original keys, then program keys manually because this audi have an air control for lock/unlock, good luck

just one thing again, if car dont start with original keys, try to make adaptation between dash and ecu using VAG COM

thanks for the fast reply, the problem is the uk-nsi dash is the original one, i took it out to change the smd leds from red to white, so far so good, but in order to use the car I borrowed a VDO dash with MFA FIS for two months from a friend. he had the login code for his dash so I could adapt my keys to that dash with VAG COM and could use the car, but a week ago I had to give his VDO dash back cause he finished the car and the paintjob and needed the his car also, but as I have put my UK-NSI dash back into the car the car doesn't wanna start anymore, it starts and after 2 sec. it stops, if I take a look into address 1 ECU with VAG-COM it shows start is blocked by im*obiliser. I guess if I get the pin to login into the UK-NSI Dash the I can adapt my keys again. I don't want to change mileage or so, only to adapt my keys.

and how do I make adaptation between ECU and dash without login from the ECU or login from DASH ???

if it's the original dash, try to adapt with canal 00 (original adaptation) or let the ignition on for about 30 min, if dont work read dump from ecu and post it here, then you can get code freind, because the same code is inside the ecu and dash

so you say if i let the ignition on for 30 seconds i could use the key that is in the ignition, but the other two keys....i repeat the procedure with the other two also. I would like and I could and even have the possibilty to read the dump from the dash if anyone could tell me how.

I HAVE THE PROGRAMMER
I HAVE A DESKTOP
THE CHIP FROM THE DASH IS CLIPPED TO THE WILLEM BOARD
THE SOFTWARE IS INSTALLED

I NEED THE SETTINGS FOR THE CHIP, a step by step tutorial for reading the dump from the chip. is it sooooo hard to write a tutorial. If I succed I PROMISE i write one piece of PDF file for the other out there like me.

have you try to read dump with vag k can commander?

papjack
14th April, 2010, 05:30 PM
the uknsi type of dash is not supported by VAG K+Can Commander, neither cable only if you read the 93c56 eprom directly from the board of the dash via programmer. the other the VDO i managed to read with vag k+can

To all of you who have a pin code and it's not accepted by your Dash, just forget the 30 Minute procedure. SwitchIgnition to ON but don't start the car, don't connect the OBD2. Just login manualy into the dash with the CLOCK setting switch and the Mileage resetter switch. When ---- appears you can enter the code by the clock switch from 0 to 9 and then press the Mileage resseter button to jump to the next character. after you have entered the 4 DIGITS !!! without the 0 press and keep the mileage button pressed for 2 or 5 seconds. cannot remember exactly cause I've sold my car alredy a year ago almost.

Kind regards, Papjack
