skoda ecu programming

HI every one,
i need help for skoda octavia .Its ecu is changed i wanna know how can i program the ecu to the car.
1-And i have Launch X431 how can i program using this.
2- i have Sbb programmer for programming keys. when i read pincode from the car it is diiferent and i cannot adapt keys and i have also the first pincode of the car using that pincode i adapt the keys but security light comes again.

Please anyone that can help..................

But, i thing you will need Vag-Com Tool to do this kind of a job. any way go through it you will get some idea.

Do you have original ecu of that car ? then only if you execute replacement eeprom

no i dont have old ecu. but i have both the pincodes

And egine? 1,9 tdi, 2,0 tdi, gasoline? edc16?

so you only change engine ECU ? then you dont need to touch keys at all...somewhere on ross pages(corect by my experience) is described procedure..all what you need now is reset the engine ecu..you can do it with KTS VAGCOM or any diag tool..

you say keys are programed but led again flashing...of course its flashing because wron answer from engine ECU..so conect you diag and look there is read erors/clear erors/values last step is reset(cant remember right expresion) but you will found it....

IF you try any other adjustments or similar remember that you need to use OLD pin from dash/keys..

Have you tried with your lunch Diagnostic.

Go into Engine ECU, than Adaption Chanel 00 and click OK that's how you reset the ECU.

hi think you got to erase ( 00) two times ! and save , and get out ! turn the ignition of about one minute ! and turn on for two minutes ! im not shore of this but try it !

You can adopt your old ecu through launch in engine ecu than adpatation its very simple,regards-Huzefa.

Hi I see you know how to adapt a new ecu on this vehicle using x431, I have diagun which is the same , my situation is same as the guy here I replaced the ECU on this Favia 2006 an used ECU, I need to to know how to reset the ECu so Ican star the car I have the old pin code , please help with the steps for x431 thank you.
