XProg-M and mercedes EZS

Hello m8s, I want to ask more experienced in key programming.

Can XProg-m Full Autorization to program all mercedes EZS CPUs?

I wonder XProg-m with NEC programmers or AK400.

I tested with ezs and find that using it on ezs is not so good idea if you are dealing with a 9s12 mcu. As you can see on the xprog connection diagrams you MUST use xclks pin on ANY 9s12 mcu. On rosfar diagrams, on the other way, you must not use green wire on ezs o mater what ezs. I try to read with xprogm a ezs with 9s12dg128 with 80pins, after I back up dump with rosfar using the same connections and I get a corrupt dump. I was lazy to remove the board and use xclks pin but I am sure that will work if it is use. I make some experiences on a 9s12xdp512 and if I connect xclks pin the device can be unsecured and read/write without problems. If I did not use xclks pin the dump will be corrupt.

So to use xclks pin I will have to remove from the circuit and program it on board adapter? Can I just lift the pin?
Did you ever try AK400? I don't hear good things for it.

no need to remove mcu, only lift the xclks pin, or no need to lift, only connect but that you must test it

Yes as far as I know all are secured. For hc05 and hc08 you can use only etl programers and you must to remove the mcu. For 912 and 9s12 no need to remove and you can use xprogm

not have ak400, sorry, but I heard that it is not a good tool. Is better to use etl , rosfar, xprogm

hi there, i have ak400 and it is very good for 912 and 9s12 in circuit for ezs is good but elv\esl just work esl old for reset ,for 203\211 esl after clen dump now work reset esl 203\211. but it is very good produt for benz

So I thing it's better buy X-prog M FULL because I can do many more with it (dash,radio,i*mo ect.). I just will not be able to reset ESL by ESL connector with it and I will have to buy NEC programmer for the keys.
Am I right?

Hi. I test on a ezs with 9s12dg128 with 80 pins and the dump became corrupt. I was lucky because I read before with rosfar and i was able to make backup. I see that the first time read the dump ok but failed to verify. If I try to read again dump became more and more corrupt. On 912 ezs it works flawless.

I've tried it only with 05 and it works fine, didn't have 08 or 912 yet. I will let you know when there is that king of proc here. A friend of mine have tried 9S12 and sais that it works fine...Did you left any pins?

For HC05X32 need ETL tool or Xprog-m work fine on this secured mcu?s?
Got problems reading with upa and like to know if need to buy only xprog-m or both,for this .
