1-connect with the vehicle cummins insite
2-open the calibration menu
3-locate the calibration, find engine data (cpl, rpm, hp)
4.Registration number of the ecm
5-this works well (with engine serial number would be easier)
just try to help

if ordered through daf it should have had basic parameters installed. if not i think it will need calterm or davie programming

yeah thats what i thought. looks like ive got a fully blank 1 with no bootloader/base cal.

I have part of davie software with runtime / application installed but have no floppy or usb drive licence key to finish the install with dealership code on. :( i also dont have calterm yet.

maybe you sent a calibration which does not correspond
a closer look at engine data
disconnect (ABS)
disconnect (transmision ELECTRONIC)? maybe
data link only with the ecm
send it back, maybe you need (password authorization)
I hope to work

Help! I'm not too clever when it comes to figuring out these automotive d/l's (I'm doing this for my BF) but I've done many others. I have Cummins 7.2 Insite but can't seem to get it to work. I would be happy to send anyone what I have and maybe someone could see what I'm doing wrong. Otherwise, my PC ID is C6DB6715...I think there is a space between the "7" and "15" but not so sure. What I come up with seems to keep being invalid.:stupido:
Thank you for any help you can offer!

Thanks guys managed to sort it in the end. i reinstalled inshite on another pc and it worked a treat. I think it was summot to do with the filters, seemed to block all the cals for that engine. Anyhow all ok now :)

Cheers to all that helped anyhow
