A misfire can also be caused by a dirty or clogged injector. Check the injectors mate and also check the fuel pressure

there is a modified injector for these with 4 holes instead of one to prevent them clogging up.

Sticking egr valves can cause misfires on these as well.

Did you read codes already, just to avoid the guess work and throwing parts into?

Hello
Check earth connection, you have to jack it up and get to it from underneat on the side of the engine.

Guys just to add to this.I had a Matiz about a month back,it had been around a couple of workshops in our area,it would start up and idle fine but as soon as you put your foot down it would misfire, engine light come on and engine almost cut off.The thing was ,it would not log the error in so I could not read errors,it had a manfacturer specific diag connector as well.It had me puzzled, cust told me other workshops had changed everything.I decided to start the basic checks and then found earth wire on block lose, tightened it up and walaa, perfect.

Hi radiosolution,

supposing you refer to P-codes. P0320 refers to crankshaft sensor, whioch is located in the distributor. In autodata 3.24 you'll find the specs. to ohm- and voltcheck this sensor.

P0340 refers to camshaft position sensor, worth to check belt tension!!

On the P1500 a lot of opinions.Look here, it might help you, although you don't have no EGR(?!?).
Daewoo, Matiz 800cc 3 cyl, 1999. code 1500; hunting at idle (http://www.ilexa.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,9587.0.html)

Other helpful place:
Daewoo Matiz Technical Help (http://www.bba-reman.com/content.aspx?content=Daewoo_Matiz_Technical_Help)

the attacment shows you how to read fault codes without scantool, 12pin (thiink this is yours) and 16 pin connector(won't work on all, buton quiet a few models).

HTH, Regards.
