Audi Q7 power loss

Hi, need ur help guys

got a audi q7 here, car loses power while driving, glow plug lights flashes constantly

here are the fault codes listed

004195 - Fuel Pressure Regulation: Control Range Not Reached
P1063 - 001 - Upper Limit Exceeded - MIL ON

004195 - Fuel Pressure Regulation: Control Range Not Reached
P1063 - 002 - Lower Limit Exceeded - MIL ON

004195 - Fuel Pressure Regulation: Control Range Not Reached
P1063 - 006 - Short to Plus - MIL ON

sonds like the same fault as your mondeo thread 20 mins ago lol

check seals on fuel pressure reg- they break up & block nozzles

i thort the glow plug light signals dpf but the injector codes wer confusin 2 me

@MH they both came in at once, was abit of co-incidence lol

Engine size code? Petrol diesel?

Looking at your fault codes...Last fault points to a electrical problem. Fuel pressure reglator faulty or wiring.

where do i find fuel press reg on these?

On the end of the rail.. One end regulator the other pressure sender. Disconnect one at a time and scan to see wich one's wich.

been 2 audi, they havnt got a clue where the pressure reg is, they want me 2 bring car in for a "diagnostic" even though iv provided vcds report

isit by any chance called a pressure release valve or does someone hav the part name please

just know of it as fuel pressure reg or electro magnetic- e.m. valve on common rail m8
