Sprinter "Star Error"

Hi mates!

I 've a problem with Sprinter Start Error.

The ECU has an ST95P08 and IMMO an MC68HC08AZ32(0J66D).

I made several test.

a. With Mercedes Start Error 1.3 I made repairs on both dumps(ECU with Unlock ECU Sprinter SP08C3 v1 function). Everything works perfect, I locked the ECU through DAS with IMMO, but the problem is that remote lock-unlock with is not working.

b. With Mercedes Start Error 1.3 I made repair on ECU dump only(Unlock ECU Sprinter SP08C3 v1) the car starts, remote lock-unlock works, but IMMO has error in DAS and I can't lock ECU with IMMO. So, after some ignition on-off the "Start Error" appears again.

What's the right procedure?

No,you must reading hc908 (0J66D) from immo box and reading eeprom from ECU and use sw Start error 1.3,open immo,open ecu,REPAIR,save immo,save ecu and programming your immo with repaired dump of immo and programming your ecu with repaired dump of ecu.If is it moduls ok,must turn on.If not,Start error on dash is appear,your key is wrong.Regard.

I did everything as you say and I describe in a. fact. Everything works perfect(the car starts) except remote lock-unlock. Any help about that?

It should be some changes and as for central locking only with STAR Diagnosis can try to get to the cause of failure.Regard.

I don't think so mate. I made keys relearning(DAS+FDOK) and nothing changes. The remote lock-unlock doesn't work again. In DAS there are no faults.

I think that the algo of Mercedes Start Error 1.3 doesn't support the keys with radio lock-unlock.

EDIT: I found that the Mercedes Start Error 1.7 has support to Vito and Sprinter with radio pilot working after repair. Look here (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Mercedes-Start-Error-v1-7-/320553377399?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Diagnostic_Tools_Equipment&hash=item4aa2785e77)! Is there any knowledge about that?

need only to solder 4 wires in ecus and nothing other

if you have problem with immo,
car not start,and u will see start error message.
So the solution are:
or read ecu and immo and try to delete with start error soft,
or put "emulator inside to ecu"that allow u to simulate the correct signal of immo".
So car start and ,too,not dislpay start error message
with emulator u not need to remove nothing,only ecu.

I had already fix the "start error" ploblem mate.

Everything is OK. The only problem is that I can't lock-unlock the doors by using key lock-unlock button.

last two sprinters what I work in myne workshop have modul for central locking under the driver seat..and Iam prety sure it has nothing with youre ecu/imo dump manipulation?maybe Iam wrong but you need to post more details about youre car so we can elaborate it litle detailed..

a. I had a Sprinter with "Start Error". The remote lock unlock with key works. The problem causes of a bad battery. I replaced the battery.
b. Star Diagnosis could get access to WSP module. I had "unit error" message.
c. I read ECU+IMMO with xprog-m. The dumps are on the 1st post.
d. I repaired the dumps ECU+IMMO with "MB Start Error 1.3"
e. Reprogram ECU+IMMO, and the car starts normally. The remote lock-unlock with the key is not working.
f. For testing, I restored back to WSP the original dump and the remote lock-unlock with the key was working(with "Start Error" on dash of course)

i have start error/immo killer, x prog m, willem, upa-usb (clones) and Compact 3.. So think i have all tools required???

you should use other software because sw 1.3 deletes remote area
on dump of mcu
