make sure all legs are clean and try sort of moving the adapter from left to right on the zif
sort of wiggle it a bit as sometimes during the build some laquer goes on the pins to dip side and give a bad contact also try temp right protect off

Hi
Use a liquid flux pen and clean the connector and pins. this solved my problem with my first use of my 44tsop adaptor.
liquid flux from alfa-fry tech are cheap per half liter.

Ps dont try spelchecker on thispostas i onlyused onefinger totypethis postandwiththeotherhandholdingabeer.:coffin:

youssefi201,
you are writing on the same chip that withdrew from the ecu?
try to make the recording in a new chip.

is the adaptor A-pc-board, or a Clamp-in-type,
if it is pc board type i had same issues, till i soldered chip to board, then worked fine.

Glad you managed to sort it OP.
Out of curiosity, can a 29f200 be substituted with a 29f400 ?
I know the 29f400 can hold more data but if it were programmed with the data from a 29f200, would ecu work as normal??
Cheers.

Regarding pin out connection, 29f200 can replace by 29f400.
But I don't test at real application.
