Put your original radio in the car, an unmarryed first with opcom or tech 2, marry with code of new display, unmarry with code of display and finally marry with code of car, after that you must not have problem with display safe, but maybe need change code index of display. I give you a tip, read original radio eeprom, and read original display eeprom an save it. The simply way is buy a display with same reference as your and swap eeprom.

IF the CD30 MP3 it's "USED" and NOT "RESET" from the other owner you can "RESET" it now with this procedure:

1. Plug in the CD30 in your Harness
2. Go on the OPCOM menu about the Sound System and read the VIN that it has
3.With the Security Code for this VIN from the "Knowing" people (Dealers, Central Offices etc.)
4. "RESET" now the CD30 MP3 and use THAT Security Code that you find
5. "PROGRAM" now the CD30 MP3 with "YOUR" Security Code and your VIN

When the radio is not unregister before change car, propably you cant just reset by tech.

so really can not be disabled even with tech2, after several attempts I managed to make it work, I copied the pin code and checksums from the old display, then decided to reset it to see how the data is changed in memory, here no problems, but now I can not activate the protection nor op-com or tech2 with, at one point I was able to activate only the display, but the radio still remains in the delivery state, tried toput back the display dump which has pin code, but the radio still does not want to activate the protection, problem is that I did not read in advance the memory of the radio and now I can not restore it, what to do to get them back to work properly ... display is GID, audio is Navi70

I thought perhaps that it would need to go with GID to use full functions? (tabbed menus etc??) But I guess it works ok with your TID display - apart from "display safe" of course?

I'm pretty sure I can not remove the anti-theft protection with the cheap Chinese OPCOM in the BID display, just remove and put the protection against theft on the radio, the problem is that the first radio broke down "in the trash :( " and could not unpaired the display now, although I have not been able to solve, are the best Best!! regard and sorry for my poor poor English,

Hi, using the china application that comes with the CD I don?t see the option to deactivate the antitheft in the BID screen, if I use another opcom downloaded from the internet i see this opci?n in the BID secci?n, but always gives me error if clik or nothing happen when click.

All depends on the situation... eg: replacing radio needs unpair from car then new radio repaired...
OPCOM should be able to do all jobs if used correctly, if a process is missed then OPCOM will not pair...

Ok, now my, Safe msg is gone but says program Radio on screen.

Put this dump in radio.

Display is currently set with BC function off. If you want to use BC function, need to change index to 10. Fuel sensor is on linear voltage at the moment, if you have the older Astra H then may need to change it to linear resistance in display (read IPC in car to see which fuel sensor it has).

Thank you very much, display safe is gone. But there is also another problem, there is BC function on radio button, but in OPCOM clone there is no option to change code index. Possible also in the file directly ? :)

I thought it was still Opcom software. I assumed the interface was just a Chinese built clone and it was running on patched Opcom software a bit like Carprog etc.

There are different displays that are fitted to Opel's so you would have to swap Exact model for Exact model.. but yes :)

I figured it out, it was necessary to upgrade firmware in OP-COM to later version. I tried to to disable and enable theft protection with code 8200, no problem here. GID index is changed to 002, board computer is working, but settings menu cannot be entered - there is no way to "enter" any menu. Is it correct that for full control of board computer is necessary to have CD30 MP3 radio with BC and OK buttons?

Hi, sorry for late reply, I tested it this weekend and and both radio and GID paired without a problem. Thanks for the unlocking.

There are two issues with this radio:
Aux In cannot be selected using wheel control or FM button, radio have Aux In (regarding to sticker)
Previous radio displayed name of the song played on radio station, this one display only station name

Is there anything which need to be changed - code index, audio index and temperature index. I am unable to find what these indexes do and what is affected by changing them. New radio is from wrecked Opel car, which is propably not Corsa D, therefore these indexes are not set correctly.

On paper sticker describing pinout there is L a R aux in, but both wheel remote and FM/AM button which will activate aux in on my previous radio (that one without BC and OK buttons) does nothing.

Code index is set to 01102, audio index 02402 and temperature 02101, but I am unable to find what these numbers means and what happen if they are changed.

On previous radio (bought with the car) it is set to 05101, 00803 and 00101. I will try to set these values on new radio, what will happen.

it is under variant config... if you enable that and try aux-in you will hear a 'beating' type of noise.. if so that means you do not have it and will need the components fitting inside of it

Paper label is on all radios, but there are stickers without aux-in and with aux-in.

Aux-in on sticker should mean aux-in on radio.

There should be code index for CD30 MP3 with aux in and without aux in, in car without aux in plug it should be disabled by changing code index.

Changing all indexes to match previous radio enabled aux-in, remote button on wheel now activate aux-in instead of CD.

I have Corsa D 2007 which has CD30 can not play mp3. I bought second hand CD30 MP3 which cause to display Display Safe error.
I have read on net, changing 24C32 eprom between units will end my problem. Does anybody know do I have to make any code job, because I dont know anything about it.
Pllease find my CD30 and CD30MP3 labels down and tell me do I need extra job than changing chips?
