Hi, i have a polo here
how do i find out SKC, isit in speedo or immo box?
if in immo box, where is it located and what chip type shall i read?

Did you tried, tacho, commander, vag eeprom 1.8?
There is no immobox on this car, its integrated into cluster

What is the manufacturer of the box?

At a guess I'd say it's a TMS370 28 pin PLCC

immobox 100%, TMS370 or 24C04, the easiest way to find- via the cable from reader on ignition lock. I guess that the above fuses

immo 2 usually has immo nr. only in cluster or immo box, and immo 3 has vin and immo nr. in cluster

polo (98-00) use 42 immo2 siemens =tms370c702=256 bytes
polo (00-01)use 44 immo 3 valeo=24c04 512 bytes

Valeo Immobox is used both with IMMo 2 and Immo 3 systems. For example, Polo 6N2 GTI, is coming with SIMOS 3.2 ECU which is Immo 3, so you will see the VIN as well inside the Immobox ;)

If it's the earlier model it will be at the top of the drivers side glovebox with TMS370, if it's the later type it will be behind the air vent on drivers side and 24c04

Guys, is there a way of bypassing or deleting immo from a valeo box in a 2000 Polo 1.4 (6X0 953 257)? Or from the ECU (030906032CF)?

If not, what should be done with the calculated pin number?
