B series pickups and Mazda Tribute are easy enough-they run on Ford transponder systems. You need pin codes for most of the rest of Mazda, and seeing that I get only 3-4 calls per year for non Ford based Mazda, I just don't mess with them. I am in the heart of "Mom, Apple Pie, and buy American cars" country.
Someone else can probably answer your other questions better than I.

Why would a 2010 sbb work on a 2012 ford 80bit? New system means no one has reverse engineer yet. Ok I get it you bought it in 2012 maybe it should have work for you. Start reading the forum it will help you, that why I start the thread.

They on their web site says sbb discontinued when you down load literature tko is their on the euro web site. There updates for the tko are alot cheaper than the AD in the states. TKO are 2 to 300 and if you buy 3 you get a discount or add one free specials emails.

2001 Ford Taurus, SBB screens were changing very slowly, I was afraid it was going to screw up so I programmed it with T-300. Has anyone else had cold weather problems with SBB or any other key programmer for that matter? That was the first time that I had left it in a cold service truck overnight before using it to program. Temp was in the 30's.:hmmmm2:

2007 Ford Focus, SBB would not connect "ECU not found", put on jumper box, still no connect. Switched to T-300, programmed without a hiccup. PATS 3 CAN. Can towing affect programming in any way? Car had been stolen with correct key, then towed to impound lot.:wavey:

I had ones that toyota would not work but ford worked every time. They cut 2 many corners on the power area and as they got cloned more they got cheaper the 600 first knock off where almost perfect. The one atmel they did not worry about locking because they did not need it even eliminated the eeprom. The original makers could get the newest version working with the dumps from silcas update files if they put the time in. quess they do not think its worth the money. I would buy a high quality uptodate for 600.

This already my second one...first didn't work at all, this one is from apparently a "good" source and has worked on some cars....

I had a version 31 work, but could not get V33 to connect to GM.

Version 31 has its firmware all sliced up. If try to update even after putting in missing chip 5 caps. It says mitchmatch. untill you reflash with 31 again.

Anything from the dealer should not be considered written in stone ESPecially Chrysler. Last two Chryslers I did where customer had sheet with mech. code and pin, mech. code was wrong on both. I have had wrong pins from dealers, I guess they don't want to give the work away...

Tried on a LHD 2003 VW Golf 4. Read pin via system one in 20 minutes and coded perfectly.


Then tried on a 2002 Ford Galaxy UK diesel, added key fine after 550 seconds.


But.....tried on a 2001 Audi TT UK. When I tried to read PIN system 1 said UNKNOWN SYSTEM and System 2 said ECU NOT FOUND (or maybe DISCONNECTED can't remember)
Tried to read PIN with Super Vag K+ Can, gave me 0240 and then tried to program with SBB and was wrong pin... I would never try the Super Vag K+ Can to learn the key as I have heard of too many cock ups with it!

Absolutely no go on this one- fuel pump had been changed, so I did a parameter reset. Twice. Would not connect, ECU not found, used jumper box, checked fuses, and still nothing. I have yet to do a 1998-2002 Continental out of about 5 tries.:giveup:

Vauxhall Vivaro 2004 - used the menu for movano, worked fine. Needed the 12 character IMMO code

Do not need it. Removed eprom from later firmwares and the atmels check fro the card slot they removed. How do you think they got to 95 us? They could of made units with the latest firmwares if they know enough to remove that from the flash's u3 u4. One has the code to boot and has on it the pin read, and the protocalls k line can. Other has some of he langues and the autos specific code.

Tested about twenty 307 can ( after 2005 ) never had problem ,did you try to plug 12v adapter ,ssb is very sensible with voltage :)

you need to check if the transponder is good, you need to use external power force, i think you need try to add 2 keys at least . i had a problem with a vw car, i tried to add a new key and i always got the massege ecu disconect , menu okay but when i tried to add a key , i got ecu no found, tried 30 times, ecu no found, so i opened the key and the transponder was broke, i exchange the transponder , tried again using one key, i got acces to line 21 and was okay but car didn't started, so i tried to add 2 keys, and worked car started, mvp and t300 let me down, i think the mvp can't do vw cars,

I've done lots of 307's with SBB. Needs a PIN and will work if you want to add a single key or more. During the procedure it will ask for existing keys, if they are not present at the time they will be deleted and must be recoded later. It sounds to me like your SBB is at fault

Has anyone successfully used Pats-Can 3 function of Sbb to program keys into Ford? I looked back over my failures and I had 3 different Can 3 Ford F150 pickups. could not connect to any of the three. Just my machine, or has anyone else had problems? I had good hot battery charger on vehicle entire time of trying, checked fuses, cleaned OBD port, and did all the recommended. Still, no go.

Try to start it with the 12v wall plug see if that make a change. If it starts and word are display, then your obd2 cable is defective. But if problem don't change then you need to look at the soldier points to the pcb. Sbb has been clone to death you might have order a new one from different supplier or go with newest version ck100.

I still need to know if anyone has been successful with 2005-2007 Ford Can 3. As I said before, I have yet to do a can 3, including a 2006 Escape today. Am I missing something with can 3, not doing something- just will not connect? T-300 will not connect also. Focus 2003-2004 is can 3 also. Try the "not loaded" first, it codes but second key that coded before now shows not loaded. Did a key on for 10 minutes before all this, add jumper box to battery, do 10 minutes, and then go through the whole thing again with exactly same results. Bad ECU? Bad antenna ring? Still have car available to me for several days if someone could help me find my way out of the woods on this one. On each attempt, shows 0ne key in memory from previous attempt, And erased all keys for each attempt.

Key not loaded usually mean that you are trying to use the wrong transponder in one of the keys.

Using Ilco factory keys without any personal history of failure. It is a no crank, so it can't be leftover Pats 2. Pats 2 would be crank-no start. 99.9% sure it is PCM.

Hey Camel, did you try "parameter reset" ?
Use T300, it's in the menu for HEC, takes 10 minutes, after that, do 10 minute key programming as normal.

It did exactly the same on a 2007 Kia Sportage with lost keys,

No problem programming 1 key in but knocked out the 1st key every time I tried to program in another key.

Other tool programmed 3 in keys in without any problems at all.

I am going to see if T300 will actually program it, did not have time to try programming with it on Friday, had another scheduled job- township office had crisis with file cabinet. Those are the people who control my property taxes, so I run when they call! As far as kia goes, I have yet to run into one for originating keys that was transponder based, not to many around in Ford and Chevy country..Also, just found this old post by Ray, he says parameter reset for PCM is included in programming cycle http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/f177/problem-fords-257197/

Manufactured 12/2002 may still be "HEC" like Tcode chart says? After re-reading your post, maybe Parameter reset won't help anyway.

The T-300 programmed the 2003 Town car without even a hiccup. I tell you, the T-300 has bailed me out 3 or 4 times, I know it won't do most of the can Ford, but it sure is a good companion to the SBB!

Durango if alarm is activated need remote programmed in to turn alarm off if using TKO or AD. Pick key to open and not door tools and long stick works on some. Read with accureader and make key turn lock unlock a few times. Acctuator give resistance back and give alarm unit that opened with key some times alarm still goes off but programs regular key 30 percent of the time.

If you look at Ad pro and the system take green dongle then it will fail. Anything that takes a black dongle will program. That how I judge the sbb clone by comparing it to the pro and what dongle it ask to use.

I thought sure aftermarket remote start would cause a failure, but by adding keys instead of deleting all keys and programming from scratch, it worked just fine. For after market alarm/start just find which wire they cut from electric ignition switch reconnect it program keys than reconnect the after market equipment back.

You have menu VAG_PIN reading code. Then you can salect sytem 1 which is automatic extract or system 2 ,here you can extract manual.

Yes sir, I was on channel 21 according to SBB. Checked for chip with AD900 was ok. Did not solve it- customer was going to call for odometer code to start and take to dealer. Didn't know what else to do. Yes, I am a rank amateur compared to 99% of the rest of you, I have limited tools. Ah... much better! Confession is good for the soul!:joyous:

1 -make sure your transponder are okay , exchange at least 5 , no matter if your ad 90 , show transponder okay, sometimes you get signal but no matter,exchange the transponder, 2- if they are okay, if you get channel 21 try to add the client customer 1 and check if going to work , with client key3 - if worked, try again with the new key 40 if car has no key, and you have channel 21 , try at least 3 new transponders, if not work, disconect the battery cable , wait 45 minutes , and try again but holding the brake 5 - this is strange but sometimes this will happen, last time,took me 5 hours to add the keys, i had this problem with vw (golf (02), passat (03), and ford focus 02, and yes sbb clone can do it, 4- make sure you have obd port ; 10v , 11 v ;5?-check faulty code, and erase it try and report,

1. Was originating key from scratch-had to disassemble gunked up (technical term) door lock.
2. Left key on for over an hour after 3 unsuccessful attempts to program.
3. After 3 more unsuccessful attempts, unhooked the battery over night 12 hours. Three more unsuccessful attempts. 4 . Iraqi war veteran with injured back needed car to get to work-neither one of us had time to mess with it.
5. Yes I know Sbb will work, I have used it before to program vw.
6. I tried with another tool besides Sbb to delete errors- they would not delete.

PCM, Strattec 691643 (H86), is this normal or have I been missing something... before I always erased all keys, did not this time. It had two keys in memory at the start of access time. I can connect golf4 K line, but not Golf5 CAN ( I measured signals on scope and one CANHi is weak) but when select some K line VAG, and after that I select Golf CAN then signal seems ok, will must connect to test on car.

Two weeks ago i've succesfully programmed a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VII key.
Chinese remote key with pcf7936 inside.
Job done in a couple of minute with SBB.
New Remote matching with manual procedure (jump beetween two pins inside obd plug).

2. Insert keys in ignition and leave in the OFF position.

3. Make sure there are metal contact pins in terminals 1 and 4 and connect the Data Port terminals 1 and 4 with a
suitable jumper wire, leave the jumper wire connected throughout the programming procedure. Make sure you
know which terminals are 1 and 4.

4. Within 10 seconds after connecting the jumper wire, press the Hazard Switch 6 times. Note: The doors will
automatically lock and unlock once at this time indicating that the system is in the programming mode.

5. Press the LOCK button on the remote to be registered three times within 10 seconds. Upon successful
programming, the door will lock and unlock once.

6. Repeat step 5 with up to 4 remotes (including any existing remotes) within one minute. After completing each
programming, the doors will lock and unlock once.

7. Disconnect the programming wire and remove the keys from the ignition

Did my first car today, Added a key without original to a 2004 mazda 3, needed incode, sbb 33.02 did the job. Question, if i erase existing keys in memory, do i have to program all keys again including the original one?

If min 2 keys are stored in memory you can just add the original key. If you erase all keys it's not necessary to program original one. You just need min 2 keys. No matter original or not.

hello guys.. i need your help...
i have an SBB2 Pro (China Clone), but i have problems and it does not work with the cables i have.
Some time ago i was able to test with and CK100 cable and it worked.
i them bought a new cable (supposedly for SBB and CK100), but i still have the same problem.
when i try to program/connect i always get "ECU Not Found" or "ECU Disconnected".
I know that this is a cable issue because when i tested with that CK100 cable (and old and used one), the tool worked right away...

Now, does anyone have the cable wirings that can share so that i can try and do/modify the cable to have this working?
I have a 2005 Fiat Palio, and a 2007 Ford Fusion that i will need to program the keys, and i really need to fix this tool / cable...

Can anyone help me out on this?
