What Version to you use - and whats the date of your computer - I know after some time without update IDS don't work, to keep data actual - maybe thats your problem!
but have a look here in Forum - there are some threads with good solution

you must have updated your software ,ford will lock out clone and expiered.reinstall your os and install ver 60 i think after ver 61 this problem would happns back date your computer for full functions

the version is V67 .what's means that"keep data actual " ? you mean that the date of the computer will be change when the trouble happen?

no i mean that you cannot use old Data for reflashing controller units (maybe known faults of older Versions) - so the IDS has a little programm wich checks Date - and if you don't do an update for example more than 3 months - you get an error message and can't use diagnostic software!

maybe uninstall and registry clean helps - then take your PC Date for version 67 to 10th May 2010 and install again - maybe this solves your problem

Means that i should do below step
1.Reinstall the OS ,
2.install the IDS software again .
3.roll back the date to when it could work well

IS not it ?
Thanks for help

I want to buy a Chinese clone Ford VCM. Can they be updated to the latest IDS software? How can you tell the new clones from the old clones that couldn't be updated past IDS ver58

you can tell them if they are provided with newer Software version - if provided they must work!! :-)
but Attention - original software from V65 on only works with registred VCM's - I don't know if there's already a solution for the clones - have a look in the Forum :-)
