Are you sure your car has an immobilizer installed! I think you only have alarm that is easily circumvented! Review schemes and find out how.

this ecu has no immobiliser......i know it very well.....i have done many conversions with that engine (d16a8) to honda cars.....no immo to ecu....only alarm system which is very easy to short it......if you find the alarm control module short the black with the black-white wire........or put a new wire from your starter until the keylock........good luck

im sure it does have the immobilizer as the car can be opened with the key but would sit there for 30mins pressing fob button before i could start the car! now the fob is dead i cannot do this so cannot start more pics of inside the ECU

Your car is most likely with an automatic transmission! Only in such a car I've seen a combination of PGM-FI with Lucas 5AS alarm! Best for you will find EKA code or someone to read it from your car with the T300, MVP ....

i told you one thing.....................this car no immo to ecu....trust me

so the alarm stops the car from starting? and if i join the black wire with the black and white wire then turn the key it will start???

Correct!

The ECU is an OBD0 Honda item (The PP4 being a manual Rover fitment, PP5 is Auto Rover). You only have 5AS as this ECU is not immobilised.

Link the two wires from 5AS and you will have starter.

Have you bridged these two cables or have you joined something else?

When you do, pull the 5as from behind the ash tray and bridge these two wires so it'll crank.

Borrowed this from another post hope it helps

Just to prove a point

a) PUSH OFF (unless auto)
b) Short starter with screwdriver

what year is your car?
I have also encountered ONLY 1 problematic version of this manual car with honda/rover set up where it WAS IMMOBILISED!!!!!!!!!
Had to program new fob in on the bench to solve.
There are a few simple causes that may be present.
I specialise in mg rover, if you need any more help pm me.
