Yes mate, and also 2D47J.
Also rather than solder to the MODB TP you can put test clip direct onto MOBD pin of mcu
Works well with my clone.

Yes, EWS-3 with chips OD46J can read and write data directly in the circuit.
You do not need to remove the chips, just solder one point on MODB MCU (pin-22).
I use the-m xprog clone and no problems.

2D47J in inciruit? Seriously? This will read the 2D47J in circuit without removing the chip and without completely screwing the chip which is what always happens? Anyone got some pics of this working in action? Thanks buddy

Mate, don't try to read 2D47J incircuit, some of them are secured and your dump will be damaged . :eating:

I Have never done a 2D47J in circuit with Xprog M it says in menu it does it in EWS. Must admit i do remove them to read.:)

Not all 2D47J mask has protection,depend on motorola series.But Adam is right much safer to read it on board.
On wrong move and you have a headache for several hours or days :)
