Mercedes Sprinter 2002 VDO

Hello,

I've got a dashboard from a Mercedes SPRINTER diessel 2002 - VDO
The eprom of the dashboard is the 93C66!

I got the Upa and i tried to change the Km on it!


Firstly when i tried to give power to the dashboard and read the km it said 000000000 !!
I read the eprom... i changed it with licznik to 60000.... double checked it with tachopro too!! All good!
I soldered the eprom... and when i gave power to read the km.. it still said 00000000 :evil: !!
I changed the km to 80000 and when i read it it said 260000!!!!! :joyman:
I changed it to 20000 and i read 0000000 again!

Can anyone help me? I wanna make it 80000 km!

look for a tachograf...i think the dash doesn't store km,only tachograf

I've seen on NYO that the eprom is the 93C66 i read it....!
I changed the km to 80000 and it showed 260000!! so the km can be changed by this eprom!
But it's a mess!! :D

hello m8....if the car hasnt tachograph you cant change millage to dash.......now you have to put a tachograph on it to programm the km or with mb star to programm that the car hasnt tacho............sprinter 2000-2002 millage only to tacho......the dash takes km from the tacho

and is separate unit mounted into central dashboard .
If your car have one of this , then you don?t need to touch cluster.

Ummm, (cause i'm completly noob with that :O ) What exatcly is that? I mean i know how to do it with nyo! I've seen the button!
But what exatcly is this procedure? Why do we need to do this? Is this necessary?
