Please, need advice about reading and programming NEC uPD75076303 from xsara picasso BSI.
I have:
UPA-USB Full
XPROG-m Full
GQ-4X Universal Programmer
Genius G540
I read somewhere there is a programmer only need 7 wire for this MCU.
I have made my homework about search, and i found this thread very usefull, but i?d like to find another way better than solder 14 wire and removing resistor.

Adapter maybe? Cheap programmer?
Thanks

Hello m8, Xprog can't do this....I don't have standalone NEC programmer but I read this MCUs with TachoUniversal NEC adapter successfully. I thing there is no way to do it with only 7 wires bcause this kind of MCUs use parallel data transferring and this is 8 wires...with VCC, VDD, RESET, CLK ect. they become more than 7. You can see full connection described in NYO4.

I didn't find solution to write those MCU.
Gigabyte : U succeeded it using diga? it's bought with nec adapter ?

Yes...I've done 2-3 BSI units with Diga. NEC adapter was in the package. It works fine.
Here is a picture of it:

@ waldi:
sorry m8, but your file only has this text
"ERROR: undefined
OFFENDING COMMAND: eexec
STACK:
/quit
-dictionary-
-mark"
@javilette:
how much wire connection nec programmer need?
@gigabyte:
so is it possible to read/write with 8 wire connection?

Are you sure your MCU is 75? In this BSI there must be 78.
Here is the connection:

8 wires not possible this type of MCUs...8 wires are just for the data

i'm sure it's uPD750.
what do you mean with "only data"? You mean EEprom?
That's what i need to virginise because key code(code new immo), i think...
Here's another one:

OK so it is same connection for 78 and 75....the connection from your link is the same like mine, just there is more easy to solder

How can i use 14 wire connection if UPA-USB connector is DB9
What do they mean with "remove BSI both sides"?
Have to separate thw BSI halfs, the one with MCU and the other with relays?

Have you got this manual??? Your MCU is on page 43, follow the instructions and pictures from above links and you will get it ;)
No need to destroy the BSI, I guess they mean just to remove plastic box both sides.

you said that you have full upa usb,if so you should have an adapter which come on upa on db9 connector and on this adapter come flat cable with 14 pins for nec,so solder like in pdf and that,s it

Yes that?s what i'm going to do
I think i found an error on enigma reading mode PDF, enigma say to lift pin 10, but i think it's programmer lead 10 (pin 17 from MCU), right ?
Also UPA Manual do not say anything about litft pin, do i really have to do it?

yes lift PIN that connects with wire 10 and remove resistor that is said in the pictures and you will get it.
GOOD LUCK

Here's my setup, but i have "Pin 9 connection error", not able to read, checked lead 9 soldering and it's ok (lead 9 is one point were resistor was soldered).
Don?t know if it's ok, but with upa conected, the two points where resistor was soldered are shorted, checked with multimeter.

your setup is wrong use same solder points as "javilette" picture (you are connecting on wrong side of resistors) and it should work, to make it easier you can attach thinner single core wires to the existing cables !!!

You mean 1 to 8 points or 11, 13 and 14 points.
I think you mean 1 to 8 points, those are after resistors.

this is bad that you are connecting you should use upa manual and connect it directly as it is on picture and it works 100% i am yust connecting this nec and works fine with upa adapter.
