BDM points are in your picture number 2. and use this picture and a multimeter to check what are corresponding pins to BDM points

In upa You can not do the reading because this processor has bits securyti, refer you to use a XPROG 5.0

I did one 5 minutes ago by OBD is not secured you can also read the chip with UPA see picture above (edited by me!!!).

do not try whit xprog ( use upa if you dont have ford km tools....

Did this today with xprog-m and drpeters diagram. Worked perfectly, Xprog automatically detected that it had a 9s12hz128.

you can use UPA mate ..HZ processor .. I think ..lol

could someone check this dump for me please, the original mileage was 32924miles i have edited this dump to 8000miles but when written back and put in the car it does not like it :(

here are the original dumps from the MC9S12HZ256
1 is the eeprom part and the other the full flash

Tip .. it's only the EEpom that you can adjust mate .. UPA will not write the flash so its not needed

You seem to be missing part of your dump mate ..
program eeprom with the attached file .. should be 8k on the button .. your miles bit was close though ..

What calc did you use?
"Tachosoft worked out just fine"

i tried to read my with xprog-m clone but it would give me errors but i saved file anyway then i tried carprog clone and it worked ok but im afraid to write file back on it with carprog i don't know if i can trust it yet, just got it a few days ago and still testing it, so far so good
here is my file with 22000mi i would appreciate if you post yours so i can compare it

Was this dump from xprog or carprog... I used carprog through obd and worked no problem... Read and write....havent got dump to hand to upload but was fine....

carprog verified ok but i still dont trust it, i saved xprog-m dump too and compared them, it doesn't look good
do i have to pickup mcu legs or get the Cristal out?

just tried both carprog and xprog-m with 12volt powered and dumps looks same, xprog-m didn't give me any errors.

Yes my xprog always needs external power with this dash. did you select the proceccor or just pick 9s12 eeprom and let xprog decide which one is inside? all the ones I have done have all been hz128 mcus.

i did select hz256 eprom non secure
