Hello,
Can anyone help me with a good cluster dump for an early 2005 Buick Allure cluster dump? Needs to be in Kms... Mileage is not important...
Thanks in advance...

Thanks Markony79! I sent a note already.
I'm also attaching the bad dump, which shows ErrorKms... in case anyone has something similar. Chip is the 9s12H128 mask 1K78X.
Thx!

I think i figured out why you are showing Error...
Have you even opened the dump file and looked inside. Its All

I just checked the file, and I have data showing starting address 0h004800 with mileage block starting at 0h004EF0...
Take a look and let me know if otherwise.
Thx

Your mileage code is wrong (address 0x4EF4 to 0x4F93). Your code cannot possibly get xxxx EFxx. It can only be xxxx FFxx. To test your dash replace all these codes (40 times) by 0006 FF80. And see if your mileage shows any value. You should get a reading close to 0 or a value between 0 to 205 KM.

If it works then tell us how many miles or KMs you need.

Thanks Speedosoft! Is there any way to power this dash on the bench - to test? Rather than plugging it in the car?

Angelo44's dump is NOT empty. He simply selected "full memory" when reading it. In Elrasoft full memory means that you read the eeprom content at the physical address (just like ETL). If not selected upa will read the file with base address at 0x0000. In other words the data will start a 0x0000 instead of 0x4800 or 0x4000 (depending on the eeprom allocated size).

Sorry I don't have the power-up. Alldata or Mitchell should have that info.

Hi Speedosoft - please send me a dump with 38,000 Kms if you can... Thanks again for the quick response!

Any trick to reading this cluster. I have a 2005 Buick Lacrosse (visteon dash) and it has the 6 solder pads on the back, however I can't seem to read anything from the MCU

If you use UPA, there should be no problem reading. Make sure ur contacts are good
