I need disable CANCHECK in this radio:

Fiat Punto HIGH CD

Blaupunkt
Made in Portugal


Where is the cancheck protection? in 24c08 eeprom or in MCU Motorola HC11PA8 ?

The dump 24c08 is the file attached.


NYO4 says:
"Code is stored on MCU Motorola HC11PA8 on QFP64 socket
connection points for programming is stored on Images section
resonator is neccessary replace with 8MHz for r/w time"

Can I read the MCU Motorola HC11PA8 with the connection points described in the image using a WILLLEM PROGRAMMER ?

Any help will be appreciated.

Your radio miss one +12 V .
You connect two +12v and not off after 20 min

Because one plus 12v a constant for memory
and the other on the ignition key 12v

If radio have only one ... then goes out off. (This is done to shut down if you forget radio off in parking place without ignition)

I reopen this discussion because everything we said here "#17" is right for this model "FIAT PUNTO CC BP2374". About this one "FIAT PUNTO MID RHD BP9375" it doesen't work because if you remove +12V it doesen't turn on, so the problem is still unresolved for this model
