Hello
How can halp me to conect this airbag MB temic?
I UPA is brocken and i have only xprog, but xprog say device silence! i put pin 7 up but the same!

This airbag have HC11KA4 64 mask 1E59B

I need the xprog conection and pins that lift.

Please, write all pins that you connect and which of them did you try to lift.

I don't have Xprog-M, but I did this units with other programmers.

I do it like this:
PIN 1 = TXD lift
PIN 61 = RESET no need to lift this
PIN 62 = MODB lift and connected to GND
PIN 64 = RXD lift

Hi,
I conect 62 pin to the gnd from the xprog! but the same!
"Device silend"
I have on the mcu mask "1E59" but xprog have this mask
to HC11KS!!!!
Or i must read in normal HC11KA4 and change the the ochilator to 16Mhz? the same!

PIN 1 = TXD lift
PIN 61 = RESET no need to lift this

The client say me that he don?t can make diagnosis
in this ECU!
He have BainBee and the soft say don?t connect.
Maybe this ecu is dead?

this is a Mercedes from 1999.

1E59B = MC68HC11KA4, not KS4 - and oscillator is 16MHz, so try to set it - don't use Auto, etc.

Maybe is not place for this, but i want to add one comment. China clone of XPROG-M work perfect, the same way like original. Except that in beginning existed only one China producer of XProg-M (i know him) and he still produce quality programmer. Other producer replace some part with unpropriate replacements and make that programmer not function well. Exist some device i have not succed to read with XPROG-M like maskset D26E (i have read with ETL HC711 programmer (also China copy(with some of my modifications))).
China copy of UPA programmer also is good and work the same way like original. It happends some time bad soldering on programmer board.
