Hi dear mates.
W211 crashed and SBC completly damaged.
I have replaced SBC with another one second hand Bosch0265960036 and this one has another version software, also.
SBC control unit is in well state with no DTCs.
ESP control unit does not match with ESP, DTC C1611 - Test CAN connection to SBC control unit. ( see attach)
I would like to synchronize ESP unit with SBC unit. Despite I have DAS devp, I am not able to do it. I don't know the way.
Does anybody know how it works?
Thank you

synchronize SBC ? man it don't work this way , SBC have 2 versions of CAN bus you either have to change the SBC or the ESP module or if your old SBC Electric unite not damage you can remove it and put in the new Hydrolic unite .
good luck

"nothing" is CORRECT.
BUT if you have the old SBC module THEN why don't you try Qrius solution?

The old SBC is broken with broken connector. Is not C249F matter, it is the replaced SBC is not match with ESP because has other software version.
Thank you anyway.

Thank you for your help, but still think this is a match software problem between ESP and SBC.
Do you mean in my case cans be a wiring harness on CAN? That's all?
vwpassat, check your emails, regards steve

W211 crashed and SBC completly damaged.
Did you measure CAN-BUS cable if it is not damaged ?
Or any other wire connected with SBC ?
Does EPC show used SBC partnumber be able to fit specific verhicle ?

We had a destroyed 211 at the body shop and ran into a similar issue. After 5 days of mucking around we called the insurance adjuster and told him what was going on and we replaced the ESP control module and the SBC pump. All was working then. It was driving us crazy. As a place that had liability in a litigious country the body shop nor the insurance company wanted to risk anything with the brakes.

Hi
Quick question, I have a case where the pump is making a grinding noise, which is reflected on the brake pedal, the motor is also really noisy...
As there is no replacement motors, I was planning to replace the whole thing, with a second hand one.
The SBC that is fitted on the car, had the counter reset not long ago, using DS708.
From my research this pumps contain the VIN number on them, so a straight replacement will not quite work, so is the VIN stored on this EEPROM?
That way I could buy a second hand unit, and transfer the data from the EEPROM...
Anyone can confirm my theory?
Thank You in advance!
Sorry for repeating this request....
