Audi A6 dash...AVDI, CARPROG?

Hello guys,

I would like to know if somebody got a pin out of a dashboard like the one (or similar) in the pic. Sorry if I am still posting on this issue :stoned:

I do have AVDI without the CAN dash module and before buying it I want to know if someboody got it to work with the VAG marelli dashes of this type.

I have CARPROG too but I prefer to get the pin via OBD if possible.:D

Component protection does what it says. It protects components to be used in other cars. If you want to use a used dashboard in A6/Q7...or replace it you have to adapt the dashboard with VAS to align the component protection.
It is not limited to dashboard. Also aircon-control panel, cd changer...

you can get pin from the EDC or the EZS Kessy (Key learning) function not by the instrument CAN

The car is a 2.4 and I think the ECU is a Simos 6.X so I am not really sure AVDI will deal with it.

Sepistar what is TU?

Chris will the kessy module work even if the car has no kessy?

ok simos 6 you maybe can get pin by using the dump tool function. i don't know

i think best way is you contact your supplier, i am sure they know solution.

TU=Tacho Universal,and is intented for mileage and not for PIN[sorry my bad]

Hello!

i think the mean with the EZS the ecu which is integreted with the steering lock J518

you can read the ecu with programmer you need Key learning func.

or per obd but there you need working key

and special function AN027

Cool guys, thanks for the info...and if I decide to go for the dump, what do you think I should use? Has anybody done that? I think I have seen some dumps from Q7s and newer Audis around the forum.
