Have a vew tools from smok, when it not works then is activation goes wrong. when activation is oke than tools work verry good for me.
And try always to check the update of the newest software

volvo v 70 2005 2007 (help function) good !!
V50 perfect !!

we use smok al the time on our volvo's, it works really good

I have tried XCan on 3 Diffrent Visteon Versions, everything make excellent. Tried on 1 Micronas 3272 without working key, everything work too(Read EEPROM, Read Security Block, Change KM, Read PIN).

Did you tried on S60/V70/XC90 2002-2004 ?

Did try several V70 2002/2003 , works fine (OBD)
read/write eeprom and flash + km all worked fine
S60 should work to, is same MCU

Guys does anyone actually own the bmw cas prog from smok? because i want to buy it, just want some simple reviews, worth the money or not.

The Smok cas programmer does not work on the cas modules wo has a firmware upgrade.
Smok is working on a tool what will work better on all models.
Soo wait till the new modell come....

I personally like smok, he's always been helpful to me even though we have somewhat of a language barrier. His new tool MDC X-can works very well on all new cars, vw and audis alike. I for one give him two thumbs up.

Only dedicated interfaces or programmers will work.
Thay are also dongle protected.
I heard that since chinese copied Crash eraser from SMOK they are using to build interfaces some old NEC MCU wich is not so easy to copy as Atmega.

Guy this tool's have to be expensive. First knowledge of developr's and second garage guy's making work for pocket money (if they can't afford it we have job and count good price)... If you are one of them sorry...
