Hello there,
i hope anyone can help me another time:
I bought another DELL Laptop. This Time its a Vostro 1000.
Same Problem, there is BIOS Password set.
After 3 times wrong PW following System Disabled message appears: [02430]
ServiceTag is : GSWCT3J
Its a PhoenixBIOS... Its there a Master PWd like Latidude or are there other things i can do? (Battery etc, and CMOS clear and Firmupdate have i tryd.. no effect :( )

eventually last Letter from Service Tag is a "I", but i thought its a "J"

I've assumed your tag ends 595B

Dont work again.
Tag is only the keys GSWCT3J
But seems that i have resolved my main Prob that no Network/WLAN is running. After a BIOS Update this features Work now.. so i dont have the need to go to BIOS anymore.

I know some methods to reset bios password.
1. The best and easiest method: Close OS and shut down the electricity power of computer. Open your computer box, take out the cmos battery from the mainboard. Then the bios password will be reset to blank. Put it back after a few minutes.
2. Follow some tutorials. For example the tutorials:

open your box remove battery.half houre replace.
and that ok
