Audi a4 rb8 cluster now shows L0 2-2 on display

hello ppl,

i have one audi a4 rb8 cluster here, there was attempt to read the cluster with vag dash can interface, after reading the display shows now L0 2-2, nothing was changed on cluster odometer or something just there was attempt to read the cluster with above mentioned interface and this thing happen.

is there any chance to repair it by dump?

i have the dump now attached readed with carprog

there is no fault code with vcds everything seems fine when doing diagnostic.

problem solved, adaptation needed + key programing

have done it with carprog

btw. someone else was playing with the car and china vag dash can, i was just the fix man :)

Not chinese only i think original one will mess up dash too, use search and you will find more stories aboout dead rb with ori vagdash can.

Ive done about 10-15 a4 rb8 with china vag dash can and until now none was damaged but I was kinda fricked every time. It was displayed LO-2-2 or some thing like that every time but I go ahead with the programming. After programing I try to change the status to used mode with vag dash can and it works but not every time from the first time.

well one lesson iv learnt is if your playing with expensive dashes spend good money and use good machines

i can do rb4/rb8 dashes in seconds, evrything is backed up and have more confidence

I use for RB4/RB8 VAG K+CAN Plus 2.0

Supervag k + Can Plus 2.0 has a function in the menu to correct the Lo 2-2.

Just write mileage again and the immobilizer state should be again 6.

IMHO I would not use Super VAG K+CAN...

I did try to do RB8 with super vag k+kan and the result was Lo 3-3, after that carprog repair it in few seconds by writing new km...

you have option in K+can Plus to write ok and remove Lo 3-3

Select Other Option, you can see a "RB 4/8 IMMO STAT" option, choose this option. then update it, it will be ok.

Cation: when you met with " LO 3-3 error on display ", then you can choose this option.

Very venturesome to work on RB4/RB8 dashes with Super VAG Plus :)
I would never connect this bullshit on any cluster ...

thank you, I did'n know about this option to repair lo 3-3, the tool works good for me, I use it to disable immo and write new km in edc16
