Hello, could Somebody help me understand what I need to read/write eeprom/flash of ECU from Reanult Koleos 2.0 DCi BOSCH 23710 JG70A (lower is written 23710 JY08D). Inside there is processor SC667035MZP66, 4L05S, UQMZXX1012, SGWFQ and lower is chip NEC B58944, D432568GU-70Y. Part nr is 0 281 014 360. On BDM page BDM100 module (http://www.evc.de/en/product/ols/bdm/) there is no info about such a prcessor, the same on page of magpro2.Mayby Somebody know how to read it (I would like change data inside only)? Best regards.

This must be EDC16CP33 with Pass-protected Flash... BDM100 cant do it!
Newer MPPS (clones 5.x upwards) should so it (never tried a clone, Byteshooter original will do it, CMD original too but cloned BDM100 1255 not!)

Hello, thank You for answer. I've also think that it is EDC16CP33, but MPPS only read flash (I need to change data number inside), so it don't help me. Byteshooter can't do it now - http://byteshooter.net/Donwload_BS_CAR/Car+Trucklist%20V3.20.pdf (it is link to car list v.3.20) - mayby in future:) CMD not work with it now, but it probably the same as with Nissan EDC16CP33/C66, so it will be added - http://www.cmdtec.it/downloadfile.asp?file=carlist.pdf. But do You think that processor SC667035MZP66, 4L05S, UQMZXX1012, SGWFQ is MPC562 (but there should be also flash M58BW016DB or Am29BDD160, but I never see it on picture -mayby from other side PCB, but I'm afraid to broke)? What do You think about magpro2 BDM (EDC16 CP33 is in car list MAGP1.4 MAGPro2 BDM PROGRAMMER - Kayako SupportSuite Help Desk Software (http://magpro2.helpserve.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=17&nav=0,23)) - mayby it will be better? Or mayby Xprog-M with BDM adapter? I don't know what to choose? I want write new nr inside only. Best regards.

Hello,

its MPC 564, only buildin flash - password-protected. Byteshooter should do it (read/write OBD), my EVC BDM (original!) does this too!

You can try to read/write as the Nissan, its the same engine, and often the ECUs are the same!

Hello, thank You for answer. I was writing that Byteshooter can't do it because there was "-" about this engine in car list 3.20 (in Nissan and Renault CP33), but mayby it should as You've written. About BDM, it means that if I will have original BDM 100, I could do it by http://www.evc.de/ftp/bdmToGo/Bdm_To_Go.EXE software? Could You only write what do You think about magpro2 BDM- because I would like buy one of these (BDM 100 or magpro2 BDM)?
Please write me also about change ID inside - which tool will be better (as I know I need to read full memory than change ID and save back). But I don't know how to change ID (because probably there will be problem with checksum) - or mayby I could use Ultraedit for it? Or mayby one of these devices could change ID on-line (without reading and saving all memory)? Best regards.

Hello,

personally i prefer original BDM100 vom evc, but if you use bdm2go your files (that you readout) are crypted and can only be decrypted with genuine winols!

which ID do you want to change, VIN? or ECU-ID?
VIN is in normally in EEPROM, ECU-ID in flash or CPU

Hello, thank You for answer. I was thinking about VIN. As I see BDM interface will be not enough - I need winols also (to change VIN). The same problem will be with magpro2 - I need master version of interface to change VIN (files won't be crypted) - slave will bo not enough. But mayby I could change VIN without reading all eeprom (mayby there is in software option "chnge ID")? Or I need to read/write all eeprom - if I have master version, I could change in Ultraedit (not crypted redaout), but if I have slave I need winols (crypted) - am I right? Best regards.

Hello, mayby magpro2 BDM could read it - I think that it is EDC16CP33 - so in software should be two possibilities of reading falsh: Am29BDD160 or M58BW016DB (or mayby I 'm wrong). I don't know how to change VIN inside it yet:) I would like to buy BDM 100, but if You are writing that it is impossible to read flash, mayby better will be buying magpro2 BDM v4? Best regards.

Have you had a look into the file?

If it was read properly (what i dont think) you will get problems when writing it back into ecu or at least at checksum!

Hello Guys

I have this 23710 JY08D CMD BDM100 clone can not ident so reading eeprom / flash independently I can not do..

Clone FG Tech V54 does not recognise either :(

Genuine Xprog can read the eeprom but can't access the S29CD016G0PQAM01 flash. Can anyone tell me what genuine / clone is working for this ECU please.

I have the same problem as Post #8 by delio78 only eeprom can be accessed via bdm the flash is not identified I have tried various resistor removals in case there is a hardware ground link for example stopping connection, datasheet link (http://pdf1.alldatasheet.com/datasheet-pdf/view/102728/SPANSION/S29CD016G.html)attached if anyone is interested.

Maybe there is a quirk to reading / writing this ecu or we have 2 identical fails maybe one day some one else can update this post if they have success. :)

Hi,

Which BDM adapter is required for this SC667035MZP56 bosch ECU? How many legs are required? I cant read it with 8 legs with 2 legs missing second column from right.

Thank you
