Volvo Vida 2010D is not loading-need help

Hello everybody

I have Volvo vida 2010d and cant seem to get it to install . It loads until a message pops up that says "vida not ok"

No icons load on the desk top and i have tried this on two pc's now with the same results. Eash pc has the correct requirements to run this program. I have spent numerous hours on this without any luck. I would really appreciate it if somebody could help me on this. Thanks to all in advance.

Search Installation_Log_xxxxxx.txt in VIDA\System\Log and you will find in that txt file what application did not install .

Hi,
You can try this but sometimes it?s easier to reinstall xp. If there is another program using sql it will cause conflicts.

IE7 IE8
Clear the cookies and temp files in IE.
Internet Options\Advanced Tab (Restore Advanced Settings) (Reset IE Settings)

Note:
Turn off all antivirus and spyware detection utilities during this entire process (especially after reboots).
Turn off the Windows Firewall and Windows Automatic Updates

Add or Remove Programs:
Remove; VIDA
Restart:

Remove:
MSXML 6.0 Service Pack 2 OR MSXML 6.0 SP2
SQL Server 2005
SQL Native Client
SQL Server VSS Writer
SQL Server Setup Support Files (English)
NOTE:
MSXML 6.0 Parser is OK to leave on the system
Restart:
Above SQL programs are installed by VIDA
Remove all other SQL Programs that are installed. Other SQL software will conflict.
Restart:

Remove:
.NET Framework components starting with the highest version number working down to the lowest version (4.0, 3.5, 3.0, 2.0, 1.1 hotfixes will be removed automatically)
Restart:

Delete:
C:Temp (if present)

Install VIDA:
Select ?VIDA Customized? on setup page.
Check only:

Un-check everything else click next
SQL and .NET will take some time to install

If this goes smooth, restart computer!
Install VIDA select ?VIDA All-in-one? on setup page.

UPDATE: Now i have the program loaded but cant log in using 1 or admin. I installed the patch but still wont go. Is there any settings i need to change? Ohhh soooo close!!

If you cant log with 1 - there should be a problem with patch. Also, in my version i need to roll back pc clock to 2010 16th of march. Try play with path and date setting. Hope it helps.

Iroll, I removed and reinstalled vida and used the 2010d patch. Still no good. I get this error message when i try to log in that states contact volvo help desk. Also i believe my problem is whem i click on vida configuration i get an error of sqlcachedependency problem with system.web.
Hopefully somebody can help me go the correct way on this

Note: Fresh install and first run, VIDA Monitor will not load unless you are connected to a network on first run. Wait for monitor in task bar to go green (Status: ?Running?).

Run patch to: (C:\) Wait for monitor.
VIDA Configurations: select ?intranet? click save. Wait for monitor.

Launch vida then X the popup which tries to connect to server. Log on as ?1? this takes awhile. You will have an Information Bar Security Warning starting VIDA ? Intranet Disabled? ?Add-On Disabled? select (Enable Intranet Settings, Run ActiveX Control)
