There the fact's cocoh that's the problem, I don't need to read the post again cause the evidence is there right in front of you regardless whether you have removed the original post or not.You come on you gloat about the fact that you have it working, you don't mention or explain to members how you got it working.You have other members complaining about the fact you have sold them solutions that don't work and are upset about it.You thank this thread for providing the solution while trying to discredit it on others forum(s).You have relentlessly posted sarcastic comments when MB solutions are published.You have referenced your buddies across the road as to what impact a solution may have on their sales.One can even argue that your actions could be considered harassment within themselves. Everybody knows what kind of propaganda has taken place in the past and you still seem to be trying to continue that trend.I'm not talking about one incident either, even if you initially made a mistake then why didn't you remove the post realising later that it works?These are all typical excuses from those who wish to deceive, manipulate and distort the truth.

Now, the same technique was used to try to discredit universal developer keys when they were first published here on DK and ended up being sold in less than 24hours of being posted by the same people that were discrediting them.

Hey guys, testing on 7-11 and looking as sweet as my wife!
but i noticed one thing, i messed up because i had forgotten that
xentry does not install automatically after the das and went ahead and installed the das for a second time, it gave me an error similar to the x8xxx type.

But then i re-installed it again (clean this time) and there was no error. does this mean that for each time i want to do a upgrade or something, i need to clean my hard disk completely?

and a quick question regarding the hotfixes that pop out at the end of the install, should i install these? or should i just cancel them???

anyhow, once again thanks so much for everything guys, you seriously got me out of a black hole, with constant nightmares of supposed "working" solutions.
(yes that is directed to the sellers out there)

I would say that the "clean installation" procedure is the best way to install it without troubles.
Hotfixes? Yes you can install them with no troubles,even the online updates (i did them all a week before) and i could diagnose with both original and clone multiplexer.

Update on the status of my install!

i really need some help here! i finished the install, applied the fixes and then when starting xentry i did a diagnosis on a c204 chassis and first it seems that the multiplexer loses the ignition status, also it gives me a incomplete data sector reading in xentry.

please guys im so close! help me out of this hole :bawling:

im currently doing a reinstall of xentry to see if this fixes the problem, and about the new 872 fix, i noticed that there are a lot of part types in the program
what letter should i use if i have a chinese c3? should i also apply the xentry fix that is there?

Did you read the "Guide.rtf" document? It says when to apply the prepare.bat and when to apply the after installation.bat, that's all (excluding the DAS fixes mentioned in the guide).

Those bat-files take care of using the rest of the data in your installation tools folders.

I would say that the "clean installation" procedure is the best way to install it without troubles.
Hotfixes? Yes you can install them with no troubles,even the online updates (i did them all a week before) and i could diagnose with both original and clone multiplexer.

Hi mate,i was sucesfuly installed xentry 5/2011 without any error ( THX A LOT ),but my question is can i start only DAS like in 03/2011 version becouse when i whant to start only DAS ead DAS can only start from Xentry.

This question would belong to another thread but have you tried the DAS32R2.exe file from 01/2011? If you don't use your tool on-line, this should fix it (I thought 03/2011 needed the same fix, perhaps I remember incorrectly).

Thanks a lot Mr Zolookas for this guide, I've successfully installed DAS and Xentry 05/2011, but when I try to install WIS standalone 11/2010, it start to countdown 10 second to shutdown and my computer restart after insert the second disk, could someone help me with this, please and thanks in advanced.

yes m8 it will work with all the MUX's. mr zolookas & co. created that fix so good that all the MUXIS working perfectly without errors.if you want to connect the SD connect you need to make some changes in your system.

I guess you do not mean that IE does not work (can you access EWA NET?) but you don't have internet connectivity? SDNC blocks it unless you configure it e.g. for a WEP key WLAN access point. But if you rename the network filter from the SDNC folder, you would regain normal internet access.

Did you check if the OUBG service was set to manual and stopped? Might be better to leave it that way and install AddOns manually.

Small problem with Xentry 7-2011
fresh XP installation then installed by the following order DAS/XENTRY, WIS STANDALONE, SDMEDIA everything was working. Then installed EPC and now my xentry gives me one error

Have a look at the folder c:\Programme\SDnetControl and rename the file NetworkFilter.exe

I haven't had any time to test in car maybe tomorrow but this was the first of many versions installing all software (allwasy from scratch) that only had one minor setback this xentry error reported.

Now I deleted the line and Xentry opens fine.
Anybody that has installed and didn't deleted this file can post please contents of properties.xml.

9.2011 is just around the corner, so before we get the usual ****ers claiming that they have it working, you'll will find that parts (if not all of the guide) still applies.In fact you will probably find that it will do so until MB decide to make changes that prevent the mods from working.The most important part is the way the key is accepted, so those who are now selling solutions for 5.2011 never did so before the guide was released.

at the time and I contacted you through grinich 6-8 months ago but had to leave for work.

and now I've come back onto the installation of the machine for mercedes benz multiplexer ACTIA 05/06 years

Not for this interface if it will das 03.2011 xentry that's the version I'm trying to install and about 8 months ago I downloaded along with your guide (newguide2e)

Because 11.2010 try to test version and I do not work, and stopped trying to run the setup Stardiag directory. So this morning I tested with version 03.2011 and seems to start the installation.

the question is whether valid for the machine that I mentioned that's the question after the installation that takes time.

I do use for the version of das-xentry 03.2011 to download about 6-8 months ago with your guide that you download called newguide2e or ultilizo latter guide you uploaded to the forum and that is more current but it is put for the version of 05.2011 and 07.2011 xentry das

Although the version I downloaded 07.2011 not yet, and the download version is in 05.2011

ACTIA will work with the machine mercedes benz multiplexer.
Or use the above guide or the new guide before starting the installation.
Because all day yesterday I messed with it and I was not until this morning I started the version 03.2011 and that if the installation starts

I install the 07-2011 fresh copy using Mr. Zolookas instruction. Working perfect. Now I am in trouble to install the WIS.. 2nd CD.
I tried those help what you guys mentioned, but somehow its not working for me... or I do not understand it right... Also I do not have HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\STAR DIAGNOSE\COMPACT3
option after the installation...
Anybody has a solution how to install the wisnet?
If yes please let me know..

Yes i am sure i am messed up somewhere... the problem is i do not know where... I installed it into 3 different computer from the start... (new XP ) than made the partitions
d: 6gig,recover, e: 20GIG WIS F:25GIG DAS
Than put mr Zolookas prepare bat file
gave the key for DAS and Xentry
than start the DAS from G:stardiag/setup...

After i finished that i put the xentry in there too from G:/stardiag/xentry-frame..... maybe that was the mistake?
I do not have hotkey-local mashine-compact4
I have:
-STAR DIAGNOSE
- BASICXP
- cardreader
- hms990 on
- hotfix
- multisetup
- wis

also in the star utilities starkey manager i only have the DAS and the Xentry... I do not have the WIS key application.....

I do not know what i did wrong... must be something
I tried to install the WIS from the sdswitch.... than i tried from ewa/sdinst/setup...

I read some respected and known user in other forum saying 9-2011 was a walk in the park similar to 7-2011.

Why don?t you try fresh installation. maybe its because you are updating.

EDIT your SIM shortcut and make sure you have defined

C:\Programme\Cobra\DblDlm\login3.bat PKW BR

BR its for Portuguese you must have letters for your language.

Which DAS releases have you been using previously if you have not seen the alert as in the attachment?

You can make DAS start from the desktop icon but you would have to change the DAS32R2.EXE file. Perhaps safer to get used to starting Xentry always.

2. Xentry shortcut u can make from START -> Programs -> Xentry, there u have 3 icons Xentry, Xentry simulation, Xentry Stop. Right mouse click on each and put it on the desktop "pulpit".

Small problem with Xentry 7-2011
fresh XP installation then installed by the following order DAS/XENTRY, WIS STANDALONE, SDMEDIA everything was working. Then installed EPC and now my xentry gives me one error

After the fresh copy of 07/2011 (not update) i tried to start the DAS (from the xentry) and i got the following message:
Fault 18.0
internal error:Base directory
..\..\..\USERDATA/DAS/Session for Session Protocol
files not found: DAS will no bew closed

Looks like the unmodified 01/2011 file instead of the file modified by impactops? If so, why not tell that for everyone so that they know what this is about. The point is that the old file does allow starting DAS directly and seems to work mostly but should cause problems at times (I'm not aware of good examples other than on-line coding or such that would not concern all).

Excuse me if this is not the right place to post this but I tried to install the 09.2011 update and I failed. I had successfully installed 07.2011 following the guide 2h (big THANKS to the team for providing it). I tried to update to 09.2011 and I have error from Partition Magic that there are only 7 MB free on the HDD which is a very strange error because on all drives there is plenty of free space. Anyway I tried to bypass the installation of Partition Magic and I ended up with Xentry and DAS deleted. After that I used guide 2h again and now my system is back and running again.
It seems some fixes are required for 09.2011 so guys be careful!

New fresh install worked directly without problems, das and xentry from first time .

New for me was that the Programme/DAS/Bin folder was now on F:/ , before was on C:/ .so, many old patches must be applied carefully,because old patches know path to C:/ not to F:/

Its not working offline programming tried on a W211 diesel ecu .
Error got was : ETN for model series 211 could not be found.

Yes, but you need the thesaur files. I don't think I've seen those for the 09 release, not all of them.

I'm find the solution the wis icon problem in xentry gui.

I'm uninstall the xentry and install the 07/11 xentry version. This version is working good with the wis. After i'm installed the 09/11 xentry version (not uninstall the 07/11 xentry) and the xentry works well with wis.

You should be lucky if you have "some errors" because you can find "some fixes" from this forum.

For most consistent results you should start from a clean XP, not only your current setup with DAS/Xentry uninstalled but according to my experience, it most often seems to work on top of an existing good installation. Just follow the guide very accurately.

Hi guys this is my first dabble with MBStar install. I already have hard drive with pre installed Xentry 07/11. But there is parts of the software missing. So i need to re-install the software, my question is -

Can i remove just the Xentry, das and wis from the hard drive, leaving just the partition ready for a fresh install??

And what does vmware do with this install? As i only have had experience with GT1, with regards to vmware. There doesnt seem to be an image loaded in vmware!!

I'm just finishing downloading das 01/11 which i want to install to the existing drive.



Right i've done a fresh partition and xp install, run unattended.bat and added a new key. But everytime i try and install DAS 01-2011 i get the error attached below.

Sure, as a virtual machine. This is what Chinese shops often sell, to make their business easier (no need to worry about all different laptop models that customers may have). Most often an old laptop, assigned for this task only makes more sense.
