View Full Version : hyundai trajet 2.0 , 2001 model immobiliser

I have a hyundai trajet 2001 model and immo light flashes for 5 secs with ignition on, then goes out.

Using key programmer i have discovered no keys are programmed in immobiliser.

I have tried reprogramming key using usual 2345 code, but still no keys are programmed.

Is there a seperate immo unit if so where is it located???? or is it just key ecu???

Many thanks

Obd

look for a smartra ecu (immo unit) in the down behind the console fascia at the right.

Behind the centre fascia-low down and to the right. Thats where the 2.0 petrols were or it could be around the steering column.

Sorry only just seen this thread.

Suggest, you grab your zed-bull and try lookking at hayandai/kia pin to vin part on the eeprom menu, insert last 6 of vin - see what damage you cause.

Also, think your going to be correct - just try and only a try - if next to battery some relays, twack with a hammer - had a couple of haundai people carriers - damm - them things that look like voyagers - damm one in tomorrow - damm, yeah 2 now relay next to battery, twack it...

Also use your OBD16pin breakout box, see which pin your programmer is working on, then meter out immobox to diag socket - oppertunity for a butt connecter?

I think meat head is correct,if you enter incorrect code, the immo gets blocked, leave ignition on,for 1 hour, if you give me last 6 digit of vin,i claculate it for you tmro, with my zbull

yeah, but seem to think there is a rumour about hayndai accents having 2345 as pin code. do a search for mpv instrauctions

these early hyundais have 4 digit pin which is usually 2345, as my dump tells.

I did try ignition on for 2hours same result customer took car and my advice to get used ecu set.

I got paid for a little of my time.

Your pin is 2345 same as all old hyundais m8, but unfortunately again dump is useless as its corrupt

Oh that's intreasting - wounder if it's caused by jump leads or something.

*SOMEWHERE* at M-H-M there is/was a bag with a full lock set for a 2002 Hayandai Accent *COUGH* *AHERM* ruled out immo and ecu :roflmao::roflmao: Will have to have a look for it and see if can take a sneaky dump.

Don't get too excited as your dealing with M-H-M - anything usefull throw it out - anything crap save it. Not seen it for OVER 7000 posts - at least.

Pretty sure it's a Kefco or something.

here is fix that it worked to be for all of you.
i put 3 keys in memory .i do not know how to put the seguence of byte so i use one key and i swap 3 times the serial number of .key

i leave the car 2 hour with ignition open so the ecu to unlock.

after that i program the new key from huyndai with pin 2345 and car starts .

i believe that the problem is that ecu is locked if not see keys in memory of immo module and unlocks only if see keys in memory .

this job has be done for the dialer of hyundai because dialer try to program a second key to customer and the car not start again . So the dialer now not buy new set for the car

Meat-Head

awesome - do you know where the dialer went wrong?
Was it not a case of 'add key'?

What do you mean bu 'swap key serial number?"

Yesh - agree with that - if you can upload a screen shot and highlight in the dump the keys - this is to help disabled members who are unable to read or write. Preferably with no passwords!

sorry late at night - got a banging head cold.

Wicked image

1) Could you every time you do one - add your own MASTER key off your
own car to then programme other keys in?

2) Can you highlight the bit of the dump with each key serial number - soory bit dim at times.

3) Notice that everybody - NO password - so ANYBODY can learn about these bags of crap - great for pub quizes - get others to pull the key number out the dump.

GOOD UPLOAD

ON TOPIC:-

Looks like the pub singer named Vic has givven up on post cards this year, he is just emailing files from his Vaction home.

Looks like he is having a great time, some photos of an immobox, circuit board

He must have took his USB-UPA and zedbull clone with him and got some dumps as well
as a screen shot of the key TRIS logic.

Nice one Vic enjoy your vaction
