Locations of All Mileage in MB Models

Hey whats up guys. Have a friend who works at MB Germany. I was showing him my AVDI today and letting him know how the w221 and w216 comprehensive correction works. He sorta chuckled and told me this is the same for almost all models, anyways, he made me a list that I think will be helpful to all users here as you can change/erase and have them re-read via next startup from dash by running the actuator tests. Below find the list of all models/years/and locations you need to correct; Dont forget to thanks. For those of you who dont have AVDI I'll find out if this can be reset via star developer but I think this is good info to have as Ive read a few posts lately about people getting nailed for silly things like tire pressure mileage.

Not exactly sure, I have mn002/mn003/mn006/mn007/mn010/mn011/mn013/mn015/mn016. Now looking at what I purchased, I think its just the ecu learning license which lets you acomplish this i believe. Basically select a module, read actual values, goto actuator test, and run tests to erase current values. This will erase current values and be picked up by new ones upon next restart. Keep in mind theres a bug when hit read test, it just stays on test running but it finishes the minute you press it. So say tire pressure for instance, select the module, read actual values, goto actualtor tests, run test, stop test, goto next one run and stop, and same with third. Now re-read values. This should set them from old km to 0,now when you start driving or deactivate/reactivate tire pressure sensor it will pick up all new values.

Well best have a word with your friend in Factory.

So you have all them memory locations and they all end up IN-corect - why did they bother with them?

Pointless there all wrong. Best thing would be go back to mechanical speedos - they can't get corruped by jump starting

Got a Fiat 500l here, '72 I think. (In)correction can be done with a drill (attach to speedo 'sensor' aka cable). Immo bypass is join all three wires on ignition barrel, I think. Start with handle on floor. If wires not joined will crank, but not start. Method will work 100%. say thanks ect. ect. :-)

No road tax here anyway, but true for UK. Synchro on 3&4 I think and has alternator mod done that I found on analogue-chaos whilst listening to the bee gees.

As i know there is no licence for that,i solved on another way and that way is :

When you do dash+ezs(change new value) then start the car(turn on engine) then find big battery and remove minus(-) from battery for few minutes then return minus(-) to the battery and after that you must go to drive car about 10-20km,after that battery sensor must get new value what you have on your dash.
This is work for W211 W212,i try it and test it,it s work for me.

that licence will do it in 212,204 etc

main menu, battery sensor, read values, erase values, start test, wait 1 minute, stop test, remove key,disconnect battery,wait 2 minutes,reconnect battery,insert key,read values, first value correct, remaining show error.

no, mno16 does battery sensor, but also look in esp- tyre pressure monitor,DPF [if diesel] values,etc. using STAR.

Click on everything in the main menu and explore!
I assume you use STAR as well.

Odometer Correction (Special Function MN016)

With this special function you can make odometer correction in Dashboard in C-Class W204/GLK X204/E-Class W212/SLS W197/CLK W207 by OBD.
Owners of this special function can also Read/Write the Full EEPROM of the Dashboard and install CAN Gateway Filter to block odometer synchronization between Dashboard and EZS.
Also, onwers of this special function may adapt used Dashboards of C-Class W204/GLK X204/E-Class W212/SLS W197/CLK W207 to EZS; set days since initial registration in dashboard and make other adaptations like KM<->Miles, Clock synchronization, etc. by OBDII.
Owners of this special function can also Read/Write the complete EEPROM of ZGW (CGW) control unit.

Yes of course, if its the w211 assyst, [direct programme]. you remove the central gateway from behind the kick panel and follow wire up instructions on carprog menu.

No. Assyst is just service. You have to do dash and EZS unless you have have a tool that can flash dash only
