How do i program new keys on a Toyota Land cruiser smart key,client bought three new smart keys and i have no idea were to start on this car.i have removed a box that i think could be immo box wich is written toyota 89784-60030.ECU,ID CODE
Your help is very much appreciated.

use t300 with incode outcode calculator program ..if car lost all key .reset immo then add new smart key to car .if not add new key to immo without reset.

how do u add a key to the immo?i know how to do it if the car uses 4C or 4D transponders but not the smart key.how do i read the key logic?were is it?what do i use to read it?

No, they are working in two ways, one is proximity and second is trough antenna coil around start button. You can clone using tpx2, just to start.....to add/remove keys is easy with techstream, you can add keys using as well orange dongle for toyota, no need incode/outcode

Does the reset procedure reset all the the ecu's involved in this case or just the immo unit?

if you want to just have a transponder ready to start the car, just copy data from existing key in to TPX2, this would not work on proximity, but only on transponder antenna. If you need to add keys is easier just to use orange dongle

Thanks mate,let me try the reset using my SBB or AD100.i will post results and solution if i resolve this problem.on the tpx2 i do not have a tool capable of writing tpx chips.

no idea, not much I guess since you do not have the other ones (steering and certification) virgin file. Engine ecu can be synch on pins 13 and 4

I have a AD100 (cloan) failed to communicate with the vehicle,unless if i have more problems than the lost keys.

Just want to pick a few brains,if i were to program a 4D chip to the immo dump,will this at least turn the ignition on so i can program the keys,i have tried reseting the immo using AD100 and it asks for a incode after giving an out code,i insert the incode and it accepts the code the it says make sure the driver door is open for this proccedure,then i press enter and it say procedure failed right there and then.
what am i doing wrong?
or is my AD100 not up to scratch?

I have a smart key but don't have a tool to read it,failed to reset,so i thought if i edited a 4D chip i can at least get the ignition to come on the i can try to add the smart key then.

Thats the trick i want to try,i wanted a second opinion b4 i mad a fool of my self,any way the car will not start due to the smart box not having that transponder data.

About starting, yiu will deal later, now is about getti.g your ignition on. Once is on, you can add a key. . . Not sure about t300 tough. Techstream will do this flawless

Now we have a virgin id box dump and a smart box virgin dump.any one know how to make the key a virgin again.I understand once the key has been registered on another car it can not be reused,now i have this car started by buying a new key,id box,and smart box.
For the future lets work on the key since we have the virgin dumps. :star:

dont have part number at the moment,but it was red in colour.the car started but i got a call an hour later as it was refusing to start again,it looked like i needed a virgin steering lock as well,so waiting for a steering lock.
As for the tool i used a tecstream from a friend to initialise the new key.the ID box aand the SMART box were bought new,thats were i copied the two files uploaded here,so if we get a steering virgin file we are good to go.

??? compare your original dumps of steering and id-code, find 1 word, look at your new dump of id-code and write this word from the same adress to your steering... so no need to buy new steering. You just need to know the right adress in id-code with steering synchro... if you know - you don't need to breake car's steering. I can tell you this adress and synchronization tomorrow if you need...

Hi bro, the right way to make a key of smarth having all keys lost is with this tool: Toyota Lexus Smart Key Programmer for 2009~2012 Smart Key (http://www.eobd2.com/wholesale/toyota-lexus-smart-key-programmer-for-20092012-smart-key.html)

All the programmers can make a second key having one working but with all keys lost you must inicialize the system and then you can make a second key with any programmer, sbb, t300, etc.

Doing total key lost for Toyota Smart Key is never a problem.

The problem is how to do it without removing the id box which is usually located at hard to reach area.

Of course, it can be achieve using TK prog, but we need a cheaper solution.
