Xp is fine, try with the true lpt port with DB25 connector.

That doesn't help. Soft can't see the true lpt port. Maybe I should install an earlier version?

"ETL Universal Windows Software Beta Version 1.2, uniprog.zip"
Maybe you do not see the LPT port SW beta? To what is normal and may be shared version?
I know that_ETL_divide a company operating programs for all.

My pc has an integrated sound card. The card uses many IQR and there are no free ports automatically, and xp sp1 doesnt allow to change addresses manually. Would something change when installing sp2?

Hi everyone, does anyone have a soultion to this yet ??
I have the exact same issue with ETL uniprog clone, I have a pcmcia LPT card installed but can't get the software to detect the LPT port even though it shows in device manager. I have tried com 1 and 2 lpt 1 and 2, changed just about every setting and still no luck, if anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi have tried 98 without success, There is no epp or bi-directional settings in my bios, I ended up borrowing a friends laptop with xp and a built in parallel port it worked straight away. If anyone else comes across this it looks like some pcmcia cards are not supported by uniprog and the best is to go with a Laptop with a built in port.
