I've just opened it,,,, you have to hit the 4 little pins on the top!

hit it with a sharp end until it goes all the way in! Do this for all four pins and you can open it

Can you post the picture for the other side i.e., the mechanical parts. I opened the part but cannot figure out how to assemble the gear and the black latch.

I was able to open the module. Its the four pins that is holding it inplace. you have to hit the pins ONLY to push them in far enough. that should do it.
Now I am having trouble assembling the gear and the black latch. Any help??

I cannot assemble the gear and the black latch thingie. Can you post a pic.

There is a "hidden" pin in the "black latch", it's on the lower part of it,,, get the pin out and you can take off the black "part"

Also, I think just drilling the four pins is safer and an easy was to open.

1 dollar electromotor inside

Its a complicated device. It depends at what state it failed, i.e., if the car was running or parked. I replaced the entire assembly (except the electronic board) including the electromotor but it did not help. I am now thinking of swapping the MCU (NEC chip) i.e., placing the nec chip on the working board. It that works, it means the electronic board failed.

I have the same case, and exchange all ESL mechanical and electronical part (the MCU is in another ESL). Now the error is:

B225464--- The ESL has malfunction. There is an implausible signal

The car don't start.
Anybody have any idea ?

Hi, the new (used) ESL in pcb is ver.04 and the old is ver.03. Anyone have tested?

you can not change or fix this, even you take new ESL and you transfer only the nec, still no working, because when the motor burn or fulse, its write to NEC chip to close the program.

i try everything, i sale arround 25 Pcs each month and i coded with the orange key.

The only time you can change the nec to new one, if you knock ON that, and its begin to work, so then you can swap the bord or the nec.
