Know that the Davie licence is only a little files that you can copy and paste , you can use it on many computers.

The runtimes is use for the davie tool to know engines that you work on. (i'm french speaking i'll try my best to be understand)

When you connecte on a engine with davie, you must have the flashfile for that engine or the updated runtime or davie will not recongnize the engine you try to connect to.

Normaly runtimes are avilable each month and keep us update of new engine that are on the road. sometimes when whe try to connect to a brand new truck and the runtime is not up to date, we need to download and install the latest flashfile for the engine and put it in davie or the davie tool wont comunicate properly with the engine...

Other interesting thing, I know for sure that the Programing tool (engineering tool) is in the davie tool but its lock. Sometime Paccar need us to change critical thing in the engine, they give us a password and then whe have acces to more parameters...

If Someone find a way to connect davie with the nexiq adapter please share! but i think this will be hard to accomplish...

DAVIE will not work with Nexiq only with VCI-560 MUX.

is this work with mx-13 engine in north america area? and i don t understand what you mean about the communication with the truck and engine. It need a file to communicate with the engine? how i can get it? is there a generator file to crack it? tank for answer ;)
