Not got one but should take you about 2 minutes max to workout how to use it from the picture alone :)

never used it
have a dedicated machine
but looks easy to use
remember to file the back edge off when done to save key sticking in the ignition

Very easy :)
I use the same tool for tibbie keys.
Left unit (A B C D E F) are for cutting position on the key and you use guide pin on that unit.
Right unit is where you place your blank key TO CUT or existing key TO DECODE and you need to use cutter on that unit.
Key code options (1,2,3,4) where 1 = NO cut.
1) very important that both units are ALIGNED on the machine
2) Very important that tracer(guide) pin and cutter are on the same high. Good tip is if you have key code 1 - key is flat - there should not be any cuts on the blank. If you have cuts - cutter is to low.
3) VERY VERY important - key must be in right position in right unit and VERY TIGHT (no movements!!)
Per every key position (left unit - A B C D E F) you will have 4 cuts (you rotate the key in the right unit).
When you finish cutting at position A, rotate left unit and put tracer to go in slot B and do new 4 cuts...
Same thing until you get to the slot F... key done :)
Wire brush machine might be your friend since cuts are very sharp.
If the edges are to big you might not pullout the key from the ignition, while you will be able to pull it out from the door!!
Practice a bit :)

Very easy to decode by eye, then do the cuts

I have a pair in the van permanently mounted in a Silca Duo. Saved cost of a second machine for tibbe, and space too. Never had a problem with keys. Works 100%.

I use silca FO 2000,its a dedicated machine for ford(6cuts) and jag keys(8cuts),as far as im aware(you might contradict me though!),its the best machine for tibbe keys around.never had any problem with it,and its childs play.
The only thing you have to be carefull with tibbe, its no2 cut which usually, gets caught in the ignition,so a good buff and a bit of filling, always cures the problem.

Yes, I have a Delta FO in the workshop as well. Great machine, mine is 14 years old and has never given trouble once. Most of the Ford dealers here have them too.
But for a van, or someone who can't afford the price of a dedicated tibbe machine, this set of jaws is ideal.

If they would work, I'd have told you about them before now mate.
They could be made to work on most mortice type machines, but not on cylinder machines.

Hi all. I have recently bought a silica ford machine. I have had the problem when the key gets stuck in the ignition. Is this simply because the key needs running through the wheel attached?

Brush the hell out of it, run a fine file over it, or use sandpaper. When you run your finger over it you shouldn't feel any sharp angles. Then it will work fine.

No matter what you use, it's going to be time consuming. Silca FO dedicated machine is best but expensive.
I'm using this KLOM vise with my vertical machine, not the best but has been working for me.

The chinise said me that I could use 2 to clone directly, but don?t work very well... xD
I will try to make it by code, maybe it?s better

I'd imagine it would be 10x better with the black guide + code

Yes, I think it too, but don?t want to spend 2000$ for a machine that maybe I will use 3-4 times every month...
