Download MR Zolookas guild 2h

run the Fix from mr WSC

I should have mentioned that I changed the Star Diagnose registry key to COMPACT4 after applying zolookas tools.

The key was turned to COMPACT3 after installation (the "after installation" tool makes this).

Did others leave the registry key to BasicXP after zolookas initial tools? I thought this would disable the WIS icon from the Xentry frame? I cannot think of anything else being different from the first post.

At this point I did not apply any time-out or blacklist fixes. Also installing AddOns did not make a difference.

Thanks, now I found this file and fixed the definition and DAS appears to be running fine.

So far I've only tested simulation mode, will have to test DAS blacklist solutions too.

I'll try to explain this in more detail:
- locate the file GlobalSystemSettings_install.properties from F:\Programme\Xentry\bin
- edit the DASContextFile path definition to
system.diag.das.path2DASContextFile=F:\\userdata\\ DAS

You probably had there something like in the error message.

Yes is right we Crack it the Dongle last Year from Martin / Polland in Unlimited Version with Russian Guys.
I can?t Manage this steps but i can give you one Licence for your PC so that you can work with Cardaq and MC-II.

Hi, I'm having problems with the installation. I'm installing directly for the first time on this pc the xentry but it go in error when begin to install Xentry and finish the installation with the error. If I install XENTRY replacing your file setup, it say "password incorrect" and stop the installation!!! What I can do?? Thank you

Hi sorry again, I've installed Xentry but when it have to load DAS go in crash with error 2173-11: DASService: Failed to create the DAS context-file "DASContext.sli" on path "$DAS_TEMP_DIR"!

I think is because it do not finish the installation correctly by the SDSwitch.

Sorry again friends , I found the file was GlobalSystemSettings_install.properties

I've replaced the correct path but later I have another error (18.0) Internal Error: the rate base ..\..\..USERDATA\DAS\Session per Session Protocol file is not found; DAS is terminate.

How I fix this??

No, you cannot be too old, I would be too old then and I don't want to admit that.

I don't think you actually need to know that, either try the normal way you've done it previously or try "SDSwitch.exe" from the DVD root.

Thank you for your usual kindness. I got good install via stardiag/setup.exe. All OK in SIM mode (no mux available at this stage to test on a car).

For info I've used 32 Gb USB key to install XENTRY/DAS instead of standard DVD. I found this very convenient because you can manipulate disk content as many times as required (for instance disable antivirus, IE8 ...) or replace files by other more appropriate ....

But now, I'm facing internet explorer not connecting to sites (like google for instance). It starts searching but search never ends ! Since I suspect this to be in relation with Xentry/Das installation, may be do you have an idea ?

Finish your das installation first without replace the setup.inx

after finishing das installation, replace setup.inx before installing xentry

no, it's not a problem.
afaik, the 2 errors are about deleting shortcut in desktop that aren't there.

install xentry (xx:\stardiag\xentry_frame\setup.exe) is easy after replacing the setup.inx if your installation file is okay.

Hope, someone else can help you solve your problem.

You could also check the commonlic.dll, at least the two occurrences.

I was using version 3211 and in my desperation i connected to windows update and its now on version 6165 and this did the trick until it got stuck for more 8 hrs displaying the below at which point i terminated the installation.

after installation of DAS Xentry 01.2012 we still have a communication-problem.
first it was the cal870-error, we tried to fix it by using the cal870.exe, but i cannot find the path to hhtwin.ini (in our system the path is: c:\winxp\hhtwin.ini and also c:\winnt\hhtwin.ini - not c:\windows !!)
after that, we copied the .bin-fixes to f:\programs\DAS\bin.
the only change was - after restarting, that the 870-error didn't occur anymore. now we have no communication between our C3-clone and xentry.

the config of the com-port is as it is written in the guide.
on our old system (DAS 06.2009) - same laptop - the c3 worked fine.

any suggestions, what we could do or fix??
do we have problems because of the windows-paths?

Perhaps not related but I thought Star SW expects the windows directory being called windows, not winxp. I admit I've never even tried it differently but shouldn't you fix that anyway?

Maybe it depends on the version of xp.
The only way to fix it is trying to install a different version of xp, afterwards i can't rename just the ordner *g*
It could have been that someone had the same problem and solved it. If not, i have to reinstall the whole story...

Which cable did you use, which port at the car? Cars of this age may have two ports, the 38 pin round connector is for diagnosis.

EDIT: sorry was this already a W203? I guess a W203 only has the OBD port, I'm not familiar with the C-class.
