I have one question is it possible to use my cardaq plus interface with das or Xentury software in order to diagnose MB trucks?

Cables are not problems i have pinout from interface and truck.

How to configure software to recognize this interface?

Can someone please help me have instaled
das 11.2011 used all fixes and all like in guide,
anyway das starts normal and all work fine
also win hht all work fine start all from xentry
and work but have problems with never cars
from 2007 up cars that use xentry for diagnostic
xentry start check win all that then come to quick test
not reading car only get ! all units then go next into some unit and get no faults or sometimes get comunication interupted me are using china sd connect now dont know if software fault or sd connect cant handle this never cars.i m using dell d 630 with it. But today also put software on hp used 9.2011 for it but same das hht ok
xentry not ok after press quick test get comunication lost
or if press quick some module get some error like f.xentry
not sure now cause not checked has somebody some simular problem.

Have you tried manually changing the Compact3 registry key to compact4? First open regedit, and look for mycomputer/HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/STAR DIAGNOSE and change the folder name COMPACT3 to COMPACT4. Just rename it.
That should solve the hard drive size problem.

I have questions about DAS and Xentry passwords and two errors....
If the passwords is not correct for DAS and Xentry,is the program installed correctly?
If I enter Xentry password and then I see it accept and I see start and end date, is it possible that the password was incorrect?
I installed xentry das 11.2011 and I can run Xentry correctly but when I want to connect to the vehicle and DAS start and try to connect, the error 8722 is appear and when I run fix for error, nothig happen and I still can not connect to the vehicle...
I try for many times but at once the error 870 appear......

I try to install DAS&Xentry&Wis 11.2011 but seems my skills for this version are exceeded.My last installation was 01.2011 and that seems to be piece of cake comparing with this version.I have a STAR C3 mux who worked perfect till now asuming thzt I not use it every day(maybe 15-20 time on a month)
I installed a fresh XP SP3+all updates on a Dell D830 where I have the previous version with a 80GB HDD.
Partition are like that:
C:-the rest
D:-11GB
E:-15GB
F:-25GB
Acording skdrasher guide I change the HDD serial nr.
Now using the NewGuide2h I did those steps:
-install WFPswitch
-install prepare
-I open Star Utils but here are begining the problems cause I not have Wis so to be able to apply the key
Not wondering this is happened cause in both this guyde there are plenty of others fix who I'm sure need to be applied but honest to be even I read both guide I not understand what is the order to apply it+even I try to apply the key just for DAS&Xentry(successful saved) wen I try to modify the registry I have not HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\STAR DIAGNOSE so have not what to modiffy.
Please guy's someone give me a kick in ass and explain the order&needed fix to applying all that fix from both helpful guide.

if you use the zoolokas guide2h, after "prepare" and restart,
it will create this registry
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\STAR DIAGNOSE\basicxp

rename the basicxp with compact4

and you will get the wis key in the star utilities.

I did this today and you have right from Xentry I can run DAS but it is the only way to access DAS ?
I saw same version installed and there was DAS&DAS Sim on desktop.Honest I like to use my SD system directly from DAS and I use Xentry just rarelly.

the problem was that i have used a recovery CD from the manufacturer. After i used a OEM Windows XP CD installation worked just fine.

Now i have problems connecting to the vehicle. I get the
Fault (1.2)-2.503.13010

Used the DAS fix, but the same error. MUX is working have tried on an friends machine.



Someone a suggestion.
