BMW E46 EWS DDE sync

Hi!
This is my first time when I'm trying EWS DDE sync. The problem is that my xprog knocked out an EWS 4.3 form an e46, I think it was changed before.....Today Bought EWS 3 and I trying syncronization DDE and EWS but no success can't read the sync code etc......
Any help will appreciated!!!!

I unlocked the EWS and did backup....

You shouldnt of unlocked the ews with bmw scanner. It will have killed it.

What happened with the ews4? did you get a dump from it?

I couldn't read the EWS4 try some times and after when I put back to the car the diagnostic can't find it and the MCU is become very hot....... I have another EWS 3 that isn't unlocked...

Ok, You wont be able to do this (using old keys) unless you can get a read from the EWS4 as we need to find the correct password for the keys you have.

I haven't MCU dump from the EWS4 it's gone...

I think i have to get the ISN password from the ECU eprom 24c04 and after write it to the "new" used EWS3 right????

You have to read the DME eeprom find the ISN and then write it to the "new" EWS3.After that you have to do
EWS-Alignement from GT1.

Yes its possible to swap ews4 to ews3. You could probably read the ISN with inpa (or poss bmw scanner) through OBD from the engine ECU. We still have the problem of the lost transponder password unless you have the keys to match the secondhand ews3 box.

Here is the ECU Eprom dump from 24c04. I can't get the ISN pass with BMW pass extractor. I know, I'll have to add the keys to the new EWS but first i would like to sync DDE and EWS after I 'll go to another shop and fix the key problem....

hi.

U might do key to new ews by ews editor, but u need to know password of the old ews.

All keys hawe this password.

How u read isn number? In my inpa schow only - ISN number - ecu rejected

cant read this isn password.
im looking some software ro read sync code from dump ECU

I want to order a key/transponder cloner to make new keys for "new" EWS which is the best tool for this job? And BMW OPS can do the EWS-DDE adaptation?

a very cheap solution is BMW Hit+2.01 CAS1 PROG
can make keys and as is says can synch DME/DDE and CAS.

I need adaptation not sync I think this 2 procedure aren't same. And this ECU can't be virginiseable. Yesterday I got my OPS, today I will jump in to the job

I'm forgot that I have one EWS3 with 1 working key but unfortunatelly I unlocked this EWS3 with PA soft and all data gone but before I unlocked it I did backup file from EWS with PA soft. This backup is very strange for me but maybe somebody can do something with this.

I corrected the ISN password in the "new" EWS3 (many thanks for bram380) and tried to adaptation with PA Soft. Starter enabled, key is ok. Engine crank but no start. I get this message when try to adopt....

What did you set the ISN as in the EWS? 13BD?
