I though tacho pro U2008 and digimaster 3 will work with Toyota Tacomas mileage change, but the answer is not, who knows does DigiProg 3 support Toyota Tacomas ?

We are talking about 2 different clusters.
From 97-02 you need to read the 93C46 03 and up is 93C56

On the first one you need to remove the display from the little white box that's got the odometer.

The second one needs to be corrected properly dropping the las bit by one so it will not freeze.

both can be done with basic eeprom reader like upa, digimaster or X-PROG.

Use mileage calculator to calculate the value. you might need to do some swapping on the hex. so take a look of the dump that you get on your file and compare to whatever you get from them mileage calculator.
