Carprog + Renault Nec...no joy. ??

Hi to all.
Trying to correct a Kangoo Nec, I do attach every wire like in picture described, attach as well 12v. to carprog, but I always get same answer, error:
"No response from dash".
It das light up for a little while, but shuts down again.

Is it any tricky?? is this tested??

If it were clone, I wouldnt even post it.
Its original. Have asked already support.
But, you know how it is nowadays, everybody in a hurry(clients I mean).
So, just thought maybe someone point me to a solution.
Thats all, if not, will wait patiently till tomorrow or after tomorrow for support reply.

the dash has got to be the one with the nec chip not the eeprom.They are both made by SAGEM

You can see if its a nec or a eep on the white sticker, if there is eep written on the stickers it means there is a eeprom inside instead of a nec mcu.
So you can recognize before opening.

Are you shore its Nec
maybe its hc908? can do on dash back conector

Sagem is with NEC78K, Jaeger is with HC908

Which color have Your board? Green or White?

hello.
i bought myself a carprog.
today i wanted to test it and i got myself a dashboard. it is sagem.
i connected it as it is shown on the picture in carprog.
when i connect 12v the lights on dash goes on and when i try to read it also the km goes on (137700).

but it says that: No response from dash

i belive that it have hc08 inside? or not?
do someone have a list of renault cars with hc08 procesor.
in carprog it says that it is scenic, megane, clio and kango. but what year...

Ive done a lot with DashDiag II from Smok with no problem

I think connections arent right. you are connecting only k-line like Jaeger dash.

you have a error whith your connection !!
ok your tacho is sagem but the k line is in the plug red!!!!
when you try to change the mileage whit carprog your all connection for this tacho!!!!

i try also on the jaeger from renault. carprog says that the pins are the same, and it also didn't work.

help please :(

to be honest if its a clone you have little right to complain end of the day its a chinky ripp off whatever works is a bonus

my friend you are trieng to do a sagem dash with nec inside with option for jaeger, thats not possible.

so if you have a nec prog open dash and do it manually

JAEGER = HC08 new model dashboard year 99 and up

just to confusre the issue, there are some with different dial sheet colours that are not the same.

But as these cars are old I dont know why anybody would worry what kms are showing

I assure you, you have not found some unique dash that nobody has seen before........its either eeprom or micro isnt it?

checked this processor and NEC, . you have toand not done so. have the reader nec solder the wires 15 to the processor, this system so you do jaeguer este processador e nec, nao e feito assim .voce tem que ter o leitor nec soldar os 15 fios no processador , neste sistema voce so faz o jaeguer nao se esque?a do obrigado

buy upa-usb....i did a lot of these clusters type with upa...no troubles

Be careful with tacho pro clone.I have one and nec adapter dont work.Xprogm cant do NEC.With UPA i think you need adapter.I by nec programmer and its work, but must disassemble the dash!Smok have tool Dash DiagII but its not cheap.
