need some help after replacing ABS, jetta 2009, got code 01042 , but i dont know know how to do it any help i would appreciate.. thanks...:dong:please neeed some help ... ABS BRAKE ,LIGHTS BLINKING,,,:giveup:

U can give a try removing the positive pole from battery and leaving it out for at least 2 hours, after that recconect it and erease all dtc from all modules, it can work... Cheers

IM STILL NEED help. how to code ABS JETTA 2009.. DTC 01042 , AFTER REPLACE ABS..was broke after a colission...no way to read original.. and copy the data..:dong:

What is the present coding can you post the full auto diagnostic here so we can see your coding.........

We done one on a golf. Lots of things to do steering calibrations etc. All doable with vcds. Took about a hour of playing. Will ask my lad on Monday. P

i already calibrate stering whell ,, allthe rest of codes are gone.. i cant clear 01042

01042 Control Module Not Coded.......................your coding is still NOT rite...................

Mate don't stress yourself more, in your case only dealer with server access can solve your problem for this year make, just minutes job

VCDS SUPPORT told me only dealer can do that..they have to do it online....

If you click desktop in the middle at the top it appears to work ok.

I've tried coding my used 6B0614517G ABS module
It accepts the coding, i disconnect from the diagnostic socket,,, reconnect and the coding is 0000000 again!!!!!!!

Does anyone knows anything about it?
It's a Passat 3B 19TDI

What coding did you use?
Make sure VCDS workshop code is not set to 00000.

Well i was using the 04153 and i had to use the 04355!
Also i didn't know that each time you have to login with the different login code!

Thanks to Ross-Tech Wiki i got my answer!

Also, immidiately after the coding if you dont perform the basic setting to the steering angel sensor the coding will be lost!!! And if you wanna perform the basic setting you have to login with the 40168 code

As for the WSC, i used the 00000 and it didn't work, you are right,,, i just put 12345
