so there seems to be a new version from Yanhua Tech which is supposed to be more stable and doesn't suffer from the blue/white screen of death and comes with the CAS plug, anyone have this unit and is it worth paying that little extra for ?

maybe they change a couple of chips that many people know about already, maybe better to also buy R260 for CAS module

What you mean bmw e60 cluster plug?
You mean you did cas try dash plug
Cable 62 and you have dot.
Dot will desapere after 19 km.

read manual for BMW CAS_WEISS_DIAGNOSE and all be clear , dot not dissapear even after 100 km in this case , only reason for test was a backup made with rosfar early.

Can u post wiring of your cas plug I.e wire colour and pin on 25 pin connector maybe it wired up different

Sorry? I did many many bmw cas with digi never had a dot. Maybe you have problems with the dash programming.

drpeter i know your experienced :) but did also many bmws , after restore backup and program mileage with x912 programmer dot dissapear without touching the cluster ,for cluster always use smok eraser with smok programmer

and after he had this problem. the guy tryed to clear error but problem remain.then i tryed with ori digiprog and dp3 and smok and smelecom and diag tool to clear error but no joy.
after spend couple days trying this and that i have extract the flash repair it and then all problem was gone.
on this forum also other members had the same problem with volvo's using clone digiprog.it damage the flash!

Dash with dash plug (60), red clone rosfar for EZS. Xprog is also fine for EZS but I think you have to edit the km then manually.

Tried to do a Merc Vito EZS with 908 mask set K85K and it wouldn't work. I think it connected but not sure. It said trying and counted up to about 20 trys but didn't read. A friend told me to turn the voltage down to about 10.5v. Anyone else had this problem.

DigiWiggy will not do this model OBD. You need a real tool especially to block ABS. Probably cheapest working tool for this SMOK

today i did audi a6 2004 old shape and strange things happens.
first,i was not sure make off dash,so simple use a6 2001 on option,digi connects and shows ?,i dont want to change to new mileage and press X,and after this digi not go to main menu,but start to write something(with out enter any miles),and after finished i see on dash 639000miles:)...car still starts,so i try to enter new digits again and see only message No Connection.....was little bit worry,start car did everything again,for play enter 120000miles,everything went OK,but when try to enter what car owner want again No Connection,try 20 times with ignition on,or car running.......and finally did after lot off try with car running...My question is this normal?or just some bug off car,or digi(my obd16 cable fixed with new connection).
Ecu did only with supervag again.

strange that it worked out cheaper to buy unit and cables separate from the same company than buying complete kit

I think there's only DP3 that does cas 3 and 3+ with out putting dash back in, in so many second so dash don't jump back to original. By the time you've p-ssed about with other machines its quicker taking cas out :stupid:

Done a 59 plate 1 series CAS down OBD. Work fine for me, this is how i went about it.

Read CAS if correct mileage disconnect!
Remove clocks and read, save, alter and then re-write to M35080. Swap chips.
Re-connect DIGI and read CAS again, after read re-connect clocks ASAP as timer counts down from 200. all done !!

Yes that's what I meant. I haven't got ST CAS cable but was going to make one. I won't bother if it doesn't work. The ones I've done via OBD have saved me 20 minutes on the job and of course, there's no soldering. Most of the CAS 3's I've had have gone OBD up to about late 2011. I normally start CAS reading with Digiprog while I'm soldering EEprom back on dash. If it's unknown version I haven't lost any time. Just have to use Rosfar which I would have to do anyway.

I tried it on a A3 M73 dash (first make backup with upa) than i tried with Digi Prog.
As i could remember i reads good milleage but does not change the milleage, removed battery for a while and milleage

stayed the same.
Finally changed milleage with good old TU by cluster plug.


Ecu 3.0 tdi wrote no connection. Dp3 cant do it either.

The one I did was 57 plate 2008 model. It was BCU diagram 1 in the PDF. I took the 2 boards apart first and read

with UPA to be safe but then put back together and did with Digi in circuit. Did all the fuses and drive 2km

procedure and all was fine.
Full marks for energy...........and with eyes like that it must be difficult to drive 2km
its amazing what a couple of hundred quid can get you.

customer called me and ask me to help him.
some guy have change S80 with clone didgiprog for him
and after he had this problem. the guy tryed to clear error but problem remain.then i tryed with ori digiprog and

dp3 and smok and smelecom and diag tool to clear error but no joy.
after spend couple days trying this and that i have extract the flash repair it and then all problem was gone.
on this forum also other members had the same problem with volvo's using clone digiprog.it damage the flash!

I have problem with k-line on my Digiprog 3. On display show : NO COMMUNICATION. Cable OBD-2 is 100% good (i have 2 pcs). Maybe someone know what chips on main board are responsible for communication by k-line? 74hc125D? By CAN digiprog work great. I have made VW CC, B6+edc16, Golf V, Touran, Audi a6. I have 2 digiprogs. Both work ok for OBD but one of them will not read all eeproms. One of them is fine but the other will only read 95xxx eeproms and not 93cxx or 24cxxx. I suspect there is something wrong with the buffer chips (hc125's etc). The problem is that all of the chips have had the tops ground off so I don't know which chips to change. Can someone help me with this please.

STILL THINK YOU SHOULD CHANGE THE PLUG OF 9 PIN?

you are making this quite painful for us to help you just buy a new connector rs components, maplins, ebay and make connections like in my pictures dont worry about colours as some cables are different just make connections and check with a meter

The first one I bought had a green PCB and it had problem loading up so I sent back for exchange and the second one I received has a blue PCB and I must say have had no problems so far, so in my opinion blue PCB is better built

56 Lexus IS250 - 93C56 (RA57) - instructions say to take off chip and use ST01 clip using IS250 menu.
took off chip, connected clip but no IS250 menu, so used IS200 c56 menu instead and it was giving wrong reading.
tried L460 - RA57/C56 menu and again was giving the wrong mileage same as above.

put chip in labtool and used tachosoft 23.1 in the end
