you can have this error if you try to do edc17c49 fiat alfa jeep because CAN lines are not on pin 46 H-47 L but on pin 24 H-25 L

anyway you can not do to edc17c49 with clone because are not present password for mpc

Sure with fw 5.001 or 6.070 (with best luck) them chineses just "update" the ksuite they send to you, so that means nothing without proper firmware version imho.

I have a Euro clone Kess that I use and it's got an older version of Ksuite.. It's been used many many times and its rock solid. As said its an earlier release but I'm not sure what on it is as I'm at work right now..

If ktag firmware 6.070 you can go and use any ksuite you want, you will only get tons of grayed items and same functionality as ksuite 2.11 as it is its matching sw version for that fw.

Same for kess with 4.036 fw, go beyond ksuite 2.08 with it is nonsense.

All chinese bullshit to pretend they sell newest versions while is same old fw thus fooling the novices who don't know how this works.

It is explained many times in forum.

sometimes you need to double check, and chose correct on ktag or you will see this error

Win 7 Home Premium 64bit (fresh install, never connect to internet).
I try to read 3 toyota ecu via rainbow ribbon cable ( all ecu are DENSO 275036-1152 (family 752))
I connect the cables and the bridge, but when i push the button to read the ecu, despite the connection on the ecu pcb seams goods (inspected via magnifying glass), it appears the following message (for no connection)

Note tha i have solder pins at the end or the ribbon cable for more easy and stable soldering.
Does any one have any idea?

Finally, is it better to use win 7 32bit, instead win 7 64bit? I know that most of th programs run very well on win XP, but these days i suppose that it is not so easy to find the microsoft update files for win XP.

Can someone that has K-TAG to confirm if the pin (collector) of the BC817 is connected with solder or copper line on the PCB with the self healing fuse X14
(See the attached picture: Red arrow shows the place of the two composnents on the pcb and the blue arrow shows the connection between the to components.

I dont know how to upload a foto but on mine V7.020 the X14 and the collector of the BC817 are connected together.

I used it once without done the rework.

I replaced the Power Supply that KTAG came with another 220V/12VDC 1,5A Switching and with ferrite at the end.
You can find it at electronic Stores relative with CCTV equipment.
If you use your workshop Power supply be sure that has filter at the output.
Most of the good switching power supplies have.

Hi, you first have to plug the ktag in USB and then just launch the software, the buttons will be active ^^
