Hi there !
got this 307 hdi 1..4 from 2004 ,edc 16c38 can based !
the problem is that the car some times work and sometimes not!
I connect lexia to it, and always says that the ecu not have "CAN" communicate !
and BSI can not be recognized !
some times wend the car not start if I touch the ecu plugs and he starts, I clean the contact"s pin"s in the plug"s width spray, but not better !
sometimes the gauges in the dash stop to work to, why pps2000 can not identified the BSI ?

I have service Box but I can not installed because the serial is wrong !
do I have to installed in virtual HDD ?!

thank"s in advance

Hi friend

Take a look at the battery terminal is in good condition, the fuse box / relay plate fascia-1, and fuse box / relay plate-engine bay 1 and 2. good luck -_-

the BSI has 5-6 fuses check those.. bust be a loose solder insinside the BSI or smth. but definitley comes from the BSI

Assuming there are no wiring, pwr or gnd problems then if the car has [A207] ESP (not just [A16] ABS) the engine CAN signal is routed through it.
An intermittent ESP/ABS fault will cause similar issues.

It's not too unusual for PP2K not to recognise a module.... (Unknown module being referenced.... continue?) they fitted any old box as long as it worked but never told Actia.

X28-1 Multifunction control module Plug C Black C3/9000 and C4/9001 CAN wires
to
A35 ECM
wires 9000 and 9001 NO ESP
wires 9010 and 9011 WITH ESP

A207 ESP
CAN in pins 35 and 14
CAN out pins 25 and 45

scope the wires and wiggle test

i agree with nutloose i have had lots of canbus faults with pug /citroen does ABS have any faults the last 307 i had with faulty ABS unit taking out everything except the bsi on that canbus out with it. i linked the wires on the ABS plug and had comms again. also the wires rot.

Had this more than once. Strip wiring loom just outside plug to ecu and give each wire a strong pull. One of them is usually broken inside the plastic coating. You can't see it just by looking at the wire, it does need to be stretched.

HI guys !
thanK"s for the tip"s ! you are the best !
yesterday I remove all the box fuses facia bsi etc and plug"s , and check the solder join"s, clean the PCB"s and terminal"s, and the plug that connect"s to ABS module and the " DTC error from the ECU stop !
in live data width lexia the RPM are crazy, but in dash RPM counter is correct !
but today the owner garage take car to the electric garage and I cannot finish the job !

thank"s people !
