I tried to read flash eepron and atmega64 conf, of xprog box version V5.4.3
Do not try to write it into x prog you.
need a great professional who can do this.
because I am trying to write this into x prog china prom I got 'error1'.and no longer equal to the detection xprogm readers.
expect a profesional can solve this problem

I took from the good X prog box after register
and I tried to write to x prog china but i got a problem as I described above. (now X prog china I can no longer read and write).
What might Atmega64 in x prog m i burned or dead??

true, flash should be 64k where is 66k,

I did repackage everything, correct config, flash 64k and eeprom 2k just in case someone willing to test

Your isp is still there and connected but the wrong fuse from wrong config file caused wrong clock source. Feeding external clock of around 4-8 Mhz to XTAL1 pin for re-setting will make you and your clone happy.

i program atmega, xprog upgrade firmware , when i try read eeprom 95040 not work, only this screen i have.
maybe serial 565 is on black list and banned?

right, if this id is wrong not work, when firmware is upgrade, fuse spien is disable and atmega can`t be reprogram by isp, i lock 2 atmega. if i have free time, i must connect to vellon by jtag and repair fuse bits. if i have 1 ori xprog can i do clone to other if i have valid serial and activate on 1 pc computer?
when i lock atmega status in firmware was changed.

Surely the xprogm isn't tied to 1 pc?? If not it doesn't really matter if the cpu id is used in the calc.

If you have a fully working -registered version and can read the dumps still, then the only thing that would stop it working is if the atmega has an id or its using the serial -> usb id.

@vanos batam if you have one registered try cloning the atmega to another then swop the serial->usb chip over then test. If it works you know its probably the pc software checking the serial->usb id

Then check the other xprogm with correct atmega wrong usb and see if that works

This way you will narrow down what id's are being used.

Yes this is why I asked if it were a registered version, as when I tested a while ago, I could read an upgraded V5 after update, but it wouldn't let me generate the unqiue number which you need in order to register, I assumed it was because the atmega was left unlocked.

hi, just guess:

-atmega firmware check himself for lock bit in a routine
-once locked it generates the unique number

unique number should be a pseudo-ramdom routine which will prevent twin number even if same firmware used, so check for bad boy jump is needed

I compared Your dump, and I'msure that this is not a dump for XPROG-BOX 5.4.3. This is not a dump for any version of XPROG-BOX.
It is the XPROG-m 4.5 dump!
If you set fuse follow my manual, this dump works correctly with XPROG-m version 4.5 and after updating the firmware works correctly with XPROG-m version 5.0.

isnt this Atmega64 secured by lock bits? then whatever you read from it be sure its fake. Im very sure AT64 its secured in original xprog and its useless to try to read flash+eprom.

I heard its 26 usd china flash usd dongle to work on xprog v5.3 sw on xprog 5.0 hardware .
Anybody try it and then update it for 543?

the guy aint that daft, you can partially update this way but the second stage where it generates the unique number fails or at least it did when I tried ;) I assumed it was because of the lock bits being checked first.

the Xprog checks if it is locked, and then it writes the generated ID in it. if it is unlocked, in some cases Xprog box SW can lock it during update. but it has to be locked before writing unique ID, that is generaten in PC software and send to the server. :) Xprog is not well protected. it can be broken :)
