I know the card is locked, but have you tried reading the card with Nagra edit, just to see if your com port is working as it should?

With nagraedit you'll need to use a phoenix card programmer.

Which phoenix programmer do you have?

Have you inserted the card with the chip facing the correct way?

Try lightly cleaning the chip with a eraser, remember lightly :)

the programmer is the infinity usb phoenix compatible

fatlad you have a real problem if get no atr in nagraedit. your card is potentially toast and an unlooper aint no good. try running it through mrom or i believe you could use atr resurrection (never used this myself).

Check all your comm settings if your still not getting atr. I'd say it one of your comm settings, becuase you stated earlier in the thread that its says paired on the box's eng menu.

Do not use mrom if you need the details off the card.

Hi fatlad did u set ur infinity to phoenix mode top right corner of ur proggy software click on phoenix and set it to 3.58 and in nagedit click reset card and it should give u an atr string, if not u could try and repair the atr but thats another topic dont bin the card just yet take ur time is the best advice wen u hit a prob like this and maybe write down everything u do so u can look back on it see how u go

fatlad agree 100% with red devil dont throw your card away.

just trying to point out that you need to get a reading for the atr before you can make progress. try mrom to wipe the cards and obtain an atr reading - successful in my experience. i assume you know the bk and ird and at least can run a card to get your tv back?

post back try my very best to help.
