I think that better alternatives are AVDI VAG and Chrysler commander. If you are looking for something cheaper you may consider USAProg.

no its not. For usa car the best programer its jprog6

I have usa prog jprog and avdi.
Jprog work 100% on all usa cars and vw.
I cant do it audi a6 with diagprog3
jprog did no problem.
But jprog only good for usa cars vw and audi.
for japanes cars i use diagprog!!!!!!

yes all japan cars and jprog have autoditect option.
Like ig your toyota 93c56 for exemple you put 93c56 autoditect and jprog find with toyota calculation you need.

some thing you have to considered.

1.Coustumer support is only by E-Mail, some times it will take for ever in order to get anwser.

2.-For activation key there is no other way to generate it so if the company go out of bussines you will end up with a brick useless.

3.-If for any reason you devise get damage it has to be send it back to them, they are based on home address not a bussines office so DHL or Fedex will thake some time to archive destination, shiping and Custom are something that you will have to figure.

4.-Went you request support they are very rude, repond as if you wherer enginer or have the level of nknolage as if you where a developer. When you ask to be more user oriented they respond as you have to pay 1000 yearly for user suport, I say is that it hum well why you don't Disclam that on you web site.

Jprog hurdware cost $600 so if they cant repayr your jprog you just buy new one for $600
But again jprog its only good for usa cars and vw audi
and landrover. The did first on the market landrover try obd with colour screen.

Yes its true!!!!but try with enigma do it ford try obd!!!!

However and going beyond answering your question. Let me recommend something to you.

You can buy a similar machine for half the price, it is called USAPROG. It does exactly the same cars for half the price. you would hardly have to ask for technical support because it hardly fails. For American cars is always a 1 minute job kind of like printing money.

Look around the web and you'll see what I mean.

There is more users with USAPROG than JPROG so you are more likely to get questions answered with the members of this forum

jprog is the best tool by obd or eeprom or cluster plug the usa prog is clon from JPROG ok and you have to update your key because is your protection if you lost your tool u can contact speedo shop and just say you lost your tool and they make stop work or if you want sold your tool u can transfer all you licenced key to the other person like you sold. so JPROG is the best u do the jobs in more fast possible so l recomended JPROG YOU know the good quality is more money but is the best .

Internet is required same as jprog now jprog will generate keys atomatic, 10 minutes average.

no one have usa cars 2013 obd.
I have dsp3 from smelecom you cant compare with jp6
jp6 much better.
Now they change hardware for jp7

hi seems that there are not much help here this is how I done a 2012 Nissan Altima with the 93c86 chip I use the tacho 23.1 and use juke 2010. ok the calculator is in km so since am use Milles I use if I need 1000 milles I calculate for 1500 kilometers

the bad part of jprog is that a long they keep support for the jprog6 all will be ok. I bough a jprog 5 and they had support till 2010 models for new cars you need to get jprog6 hope they keep supporting jprog6 very good tool I have jprog5 and jprog6 software is expensive but if you do few cars a week is well worth t.

be prepare It just 500 for new hardware only no test drive software or give away even.
