1.6 petrol, 55 reg. car starts but from cold will not tick over and keeps cutting out, when it warms up ticks over fine. no warning lights coming up on dash, faults stored df119 camshaft sensor signal phaser measurement outside of range. you can clear but keeps coming back, i have changed camshaft sensor and checked wiring all fine. can anyone help. thanks

99% sure it will need a new dephaser pulley.

Most of them I have come a cross with this Cam Shaft Sensor fault it have cured by replacing a Good OE quality sensor.....

One other thing you need to check the multi plug which connects to cam sensor make sure the pins are connecting nicely.....take a small screwdriver and press those pins so they fit properly......

hi! often diagnostic clip acuse camshaft sensor incoherence when capteuf crankshaft no longer signal and the default is often the crankshaft sensor electrical outlet! hope to have help

Dephaser pulley, cheapest place to get it is Eurocarcare ?112 delivered genuine part, the bolt holding pulley on is very tight and needs a little heat to melt thread locker, very easy and straight forward job just a lot of labour invloved

turned out to be dephaser valve located to the left of oil fill cap on top of engine, thanks for the help
